You slap The Behind the Scenes Pic of the Day in a dream, you better wake up and apologize!

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with today’s Behind the Scenes Pic!

Is it weird that I sometimes fantasize about visiting classic film movie sets? Probably, but it’s also one of the reasons I’m kind of obsessive about these behind the scenes images. Take today’s feature film, Angels With Dirty Faces. Not only is it a classic crime flick, but if you could time travel back and visit that set on any given day you’d see the great Michael Curtiz direct and James Cagney, Humphrey Bogart or Ann Sheridan act.

And just look at how classy the pic is… With Cagney nonchalantly smoking a pipe while wearing a dress suit and fedora as he discusses something probably incredibly banal with director Michael Curtiz. Or maybe they’re talking the secret of their artform and/or the universe. I’ll never know, but this one moment is frozen in time for all of us to ponder.

  I must've watched that film 20 times when I was a kid. In Resevoir Dogs that line is indeed spoken by Harvey Keitel, its during the diner scene at the start.

  I don't think you can consider Q.T. as having "nicked" that dialogue. It was during the diner scene where all the colors were having a conversation about non-related items. Mr. White quoted a movie, just like we all do during "normal" conversations.

  Pat O'Brien and The Dead End Kids. I love this film...especially the way Cagney continually adjusts his shoulders in that tough-guy kinda way. And no matter how many times I see it I still get creeped out during the execution scene. "G'wan, ya mugs...."
