ScoreKeeper Presents an Exclusive Video Interview with Cliff Martinez Scoring THE LINCOLN LAWYER

Greetings! ScoreKeeper here with another exclusive video interview courtesy of the fine folks at Lakeshore Soundtracks. THE LINCOLN LAWYER (2011) hit the streets this past weekend accompanied by an urban-groove-alicious and intensely meditative score by Cliff Martinez. Known for his eclectic "outside-the-box" approach to scoring Martinez builds upon an impressive stable of films which include THE LIMEY (1999), TRAFFIC (2000), NARC (2002), and SOLARIS (2002).

Cliff talks briefly about how he came aboard the film, what elements inspired him, and also gives an uber-cool demonstration of a bizarre crystaline instrument which sings when he strokes its rods. Enjoy!

UPDATE: Cliff Martinez will be at Dark Delicacies in Burbank on April 16, 2011, at 2PM to sign copies of THE LINCOLN LAWYER. Also in attendance will be Chris Tilton (FRINGE), Christopher Lennertz (HOP, CATS AND DOGS 2), Mark Isham (A RIVER RUNS THROUGH IT, THE MECHANIC), Scott Glasgow (LO), Ryan Shore (JACK BROOKS: MONSTER SLAYER) and Stu Phillips (BATTLESTAR GALACTICA, KNIGHT RIDER). Don't miss it!!!
