Sarah Palin HBO Movie GAME CHANGE To Star Julianne Moore!!

I am Hercules!!

Sarah Palin, the slow-witted one-time vice presidential nominee who played an essential role in securing the U.S. presidency for Barack Obama, has become the subject of an HBO TV-movie.

“Game Change” will examine the most disastrous decision John McCain made during his 2008 presidential bid.

Palin will be played not by the busy Tina Fey, but by big-screen actress Julianne Moore (“The Kids Are Alright”).

The script is by former “Buffy The Vampire Slayer” player Danny Strong, who was Emmy-nominated for penning “Recount,” a depiction of events in Florida that resulted in the election of George Walker Bush over Al Gore in 2000. Jay Roach, who directed “Recount,” directs “Game Change” as well.

The project is an adaptation of “Game Change: Obama and the Clintons, McCain and Palin, and the Race of a Lifetime” by John Heilemann and Mark Halperin .

These days Palin continues to prove the Democrats' best friend over at Fox News, where she exudes such a pervasive air of addled dopeyness she makes Obama seem smarter every time she takes issue with one of his actions.  (If she really wanted us to think twice about Obama's policies, she should applaud some of them.)

While a recent NBC/Wall Street Journal poll indicates only 12 percent of Republicans favor her as the next GOP presidential candidate in 2012, my own poll indicates 100 percent of Democrats want her as the GOP's nominee.

It's hard to remember a more ill-equipped, more vain or more petty individual taking the national political stage. Her irrational assertion that David Letterman -- a man not famous for joking about rape -- made jokes about the "rape" of her teenager did not endear her to fans of good comedy.

Palin's scores dropped precipitously again early this year when, while many Americans were praying for the recovery of Rep. Gabby Giffords in the hours after a bullet pieced her brain, Sarah Palin decided to complain about the way Sarah Palin was being portrayed in the media.

Laura Dern was Emmy-nominated for her work as dizzy Florida official Katherine Harris in “Recount.”
