MEN IN BLACK III's Script Is Now Being Wrangled By...

A while back,  we learned that a planned shooting hiatus on MEN IN BLACK III had been extended to fix script issues (details HERE).

Deadline is now saying that David Koepp (INDIANA JONES AND THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL, Sam Raimi's first SPIDER-MAN movie, Spielberg's WAR OF THE WORLDS adaptation) is being brought in to try to beat the picture's screenplay into shape.

Initially scripted by TROPIC THUNDER's Etan Cohen, MIB3 finds Will Smith's character heading back in time to encounter a younger version of Tommy Lee Jones' character (played by Josh Brolin - Tommy Lee Jones does appear in the film as well).

Despite these lengthier-than-expected delays, seems the plan is still to get the movie into theaters by next Summer.
