I have no idea what Ryan Kwanten did to incur the wrath of Peter Dinklage, but it looks like The Dink means business in the above photo from Joe Lynch's THE KNIGHTS OF BADASSDOM. Perhaps Mr. Kwanten disrespected the exquisite airbrush painting on the side of The Dink's van. That'd certainly be sufficient to jolt me into a sword-swingin' mood.
There's no release date set for THE KNIGHTS OF BADASSDOM just yet, but with a cast that also includes Steve Zahn, Summer Glau and Danny Pudi (working miracles weekly on COMMUNITY), I'm sure it's only a matter of time before a smart distributor picks this sucker up. The story centers on a group of LARP-ers who accidentally summon a very real and powerful demon during one of their make-believe jaunts. This movie has just sounded like a lot of fun from the very beginning, and I've lots of faith in Lynch's ability to deliver a very clever - and likely very bloody - piece of comedic fantasy.
