Word leaked Wednesday that Michael Scott will share a moment with David Brent in next week’s episode of NBC’s “The Office.”
Golden Globes host Ricky Gervais reprises the role he played the original BBC series from 2001 to 2003. Like Michael Scott, Brent began his series as a paper company’s branch manager. In later episodes, Brent became a reviled celebrity following the airing of the documentary series that followed him.
In the (now unified) universe of “The Office,” the footage shot by the documentary crew following Scott, Dwight Schrute and Pam Halpert has not yet been exposed to the public.
"The Office" returns with new episodes tomorrow night.
