5 Killer Cool GREEN HORNET Prize Packs to Give Away!!!

Published at: Jan. 23, 2011, 2:57 p.m. CST by AICNStaff

Hey folks, Harry here...  Having just had my best day yet since surgery.   I'm now able to kind of move in bed without screaming in agony from the healing injury.   But they're hitting me with rather intense pain killers - so if some of this doesn't make sense, please excuse me, I'm trying my best - and writing on the site keeps me from going nuts in this room.

SO - before I go any further - We've been given a ton of cool stuff from: http://www.factoryentstore.com to give out - so I've created 5 prize packs for you good folks.   Here's what they contain.

1 Stealth Mode Black Beauty car

1 Black Beauty Fire Power car

1 Regular BLACK BEAUTY

1 Black Beauty Rolling Arsenal

1 Green Hornet Money Clip

1 Set of Green Hornet Cuff Links

1 Great Green Hornet Action Figure

1 Great KATO Action Figure!!!

Here's what all that looks like:

SO - what do you have to do to get one of everything you see here?

I think it would be fun, to see some 5 Panel Comic Strips about the continuing adventures of this new GREEN HORNET team meeting the original Van Williams/Bruce Lee team.

The best 5 entries get all of the above.   To be clear, we have 5 prize packs, to the 5 best entries.   Now send your entries to HK@AINTITCOOL.COM - with your full name and address - and your comic strip.     These Comic Strips will be shown on AICN - and will be judged upon their artistic and witty merits.   Or - well, just make me giggle and you're gonna probably be close.

SO - there ya go!!!

You have till January 27th aka Father Geek's Birthday!!!

    If I win..

    by Cash907

can I trade my prize for something from a movie that didn't suck ass, like True Grit maybe? I couldn't even put this shit on eBay at this point.

  • Jan. 17, 2011, 2:23 a.m. CST

    But for the record Harry

    by Cash907

Even though I hate your taste in movies, and think your reviews are crap a 12 year old girl could write (and I make no bones voicing either opinion even now, because that would be disingenuous) I am truly thankful that you are on the mend, and doing much better. I can only imagine the rollercoaster you, Yoko, and your family have been on over the last few days, and I would be lying if I said my respect for you hasn't gone up several notches. You handled a horrible thing with an earnest courage I don't know I could match if in the same situation, and it's only fair to lay on the praise as well as the criticism when it is so deserved. Best wishes, speedy recovery.

Notice how I pay attention to your post beacuse you're an asshole of biblical proportions. It should be perfectly okay to bash the old Red Hornet's critiques or praises as well as his style of review. Be it in poor or (as I prefer) bad taste here on this platform AND wish him well in the flesh at the same time. The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy. A fine moment of synchronisity for both Harry and his nemesis digitalis cash907

i had a hunch from when its production was announced, that this movie was going to be both good and successful although many people had already put out the verdict that it was going to be a failure. fuck i am so happy when i am right.

    by Robert McNay

I just love it, if you can't write something suitably funny in Capone's opinion, you can't get preview tickets. Now, if you aren't an artist, you can't get any GH swag. Thrrrrrrrrrpt!

I Saw This Movie, And Surprise, It's Great???!!!

    by Media Messiah

I was shocked, it is actually agreat film, that in many cases, reinvents the super hero genre. It is Observe and Report and Pineapple Express meets Iron Man and Batman...but it actually goes were Batman won't, and is what Iron Man should have been, as these heroes in The "Green Hornet" kill if they have to, with no hesitation. The script is smart too, with many brilliant twists, and it is funny. Hornet and Kato actually have the reactions that any of us would have if we were in ths situation, and ask the same questions that we would. They are brilliant, and perfectly clumsy, as they are making it up as they go along, and are shocked when they get it right, as any of us would be. Next, the action is clearly shot, in addition to being was badass, and the fight choreography, unlike the Batman films, can really be seen--thanks to a good director, a good editor, and a great second unit director. Speaking of editing, the film has its own foundaton, it doesn't look like any super hero film ever made, via its use of time dialation, and other visual tricks. I also laughed my ass off a lot, humor being something that was missing from the Batman films, and Spiderman. These weren't dumb jokes either--they were often methodical, and only got silly during the climax, but the movie rebounded, and quickly got brilliant again. Seth Rogen has become a legitimate filmmaker, and dare I say a genius--this is the last time I will ever doubt this man, and the guy who plays Kato, is a star. He should have played Sulu in the new Star Trek--as he has great charisma, and could be easily considered a sex symbol. Cameron Diaz, who I am not a fan of, was a lot of fun here, and her character was counter-intuitive in execution. She was refreshing, and the way her character was written, including her arc, was different and smart than the norm for female leads in these types of films. The new Green Hornet, is a great film, and a classic. This will be a very big hit on DVD, and cable!!! Please give us a sequel that is just as smart and inventive--and keep together your director, writer, editor, and crew. And PS: Thanks for the tribute to Bruce Lee--it was very clever!!!

    by boardbrtn

Interesting read, but really, how much influence does Harry have anymore? He seems like a nice guy; a nerd like all of us, that gets overly excited for movies. We come to this site for the early pics of Spider-Man or the latest casting news on Superman. We still went out and saw Inception (3 times) even though Harry wasn't impressed with it. We don't care. We can make up our own minds about what we want to see. Honestly, and this might just be me, I don't see any ethical issues at play here.

    The Green Hornet-Reviewed!!!

    by Kevin Egan

Good luck to all who joined! :D Am just about to watch Green Hornet later tonight. Speaking of 'kick in the nuts'... anyone here who knows weng-weng? He's the Philippines' pint-sized James Bond. Hollywood should go pick that up and make a reboot. That would make for a fun movie. I also made him a tribute comic! Search him up on youtube... Proud Filipino here! :D
