There are, in the world, a limited number of SUPER-COOL thingies. In that spirit, I direct you to that most blessed and cursed of web-auction sites, EBAY, for none other than...

A VULCAN LURPA!

Can't you hear the music? DA DA DAAA DAA DAAA DAA DAA DUN DA DUN DUN....Sure, it's going to cost you a few thousand smackers, but YOU KNOW IT'S WORTH IT! Check it out, monkeys.

    The Pity!

    by darth boner

What's *really* said is that I've never seen a Vulcan Lupra outside of The Cable Guy. And that I remember anything from The Cable Guy.

  • Glen here...Despite the assertions of the guy selling this thing on eBay, this weapon was not used in the episode THE MENAGERIE. It was used in AMOK TIME -- Kirk and Spock used them to beat the crap out of eachother while Spock was horny. Just a little FYI...**Glen**

    Christmas present

    by harris

Maybe if I e-mail this posting to my mother, and she goes completely insane before the 25th, I could get the Lurpa as my present. I think it more likely that I will receive the Classic Trek calendar... Again!!!

As long as we're making corrections...

    by thunderchild

The Lirpa was used in Amok Time by *Mister* Spock, not Dr. Spock. Sheesh, so much for being "meticulously researched".

It sure ain't no Beanie Baby

    by narf

Aren't those things cute? And the great thing is that THEY"RE WORTH BIG MONEY! Yeah, if you're an idiot. Sheesh, 14 cents worth of flammable polyester stuffed with the teeth of 3rd world babies. Why didn't I think of that? Some people rake in millions of bucks over a nutty idea, and I have to shoot birds at the airport. I wish I was making that up.
