A live-action Wonder Woman continues to encounter difficulty making her way to America.
Numerous efforts to put her on the big screen – by everyone from “Mad Max” creator George Miller to “Buffy The Vampire Slayer” mastermind Joss Whedon – have been thwarted, and now a new proposed series depicting the iconic superheroine from David E. Kelley (“Ally McBeal,” “Harry’s Law”) has apparently failed to find traction among all the major broadcast networks, according to sources speaking to Entertainment Weekly’s James Hibberd.
“Wonder Woman” would apparently prove too expensive a series for the limited budgets enjoyed by the cable channels, so for now the project has stalled.
