The greenband trailer for YOUR HIGHNESS assaults the internets!
Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with a link to the official greenband trailer for the upcoming fantasy comedy YOUR HIGHNESS. This trailer works pretty well to show how epic this adventure tale is, but by the very nature of a greenband trailer underplays how raunchy the film will be... although I do give them props for sneaking blatant fellatio and masturbation jokes.
They get negative points for painting a bikini bottom over Ms. Portman's wonderful behind, but as long as everything is as it should be upon release of the feature film then all will be right with the world.
Click on the below image to be whisked away to the magic land that is Apple for glorious HD Quicktime Your Highnessness!

Are CGI'd to still show off her ass's shape. I'm willing to bet the CGI "artist" spent an unnecessarily long time working on that project.
-
....is the new 1st
-
fixy?
-
Couldn't even make it through the whole trailer. WTF were they thinking?
-
It scares me.
-
All should be good and clickable now.
-
that looks really awesome!
-
This looks great! I certainly am gonna pay money for that shit and maybe even own it on Blue Ray and then take it out for dinner.
-
It can't go wrong, right?
-
IGN has the red band trailer.
-
I FUCKING LOVE WHEN they put modern jokes and intonations and speech patterns in to period pieces!!!! It's my favorite!
-
And the audience wasn't really there for it. This looks like a few steps below that, but a few steps above similar movies like Year One and Ella Enchanted. Stardust is still the only good one in that list, and again, it wasn't that successful. Good luck to them. I was kind of hoping Franco wouldn't be in anymore lame movies, so I hope this is better than it looks.
-
Although I did like the "Why would anyone want to be with you?" "Oh I don't know, because I'm rich and live in a castle and can do magic"
-
Yeah, but its hard to beat "Magic, Mother F***er!"
-
And even if it didn't, I'd still have high expectations for it. David Gordon Green has a great pedigree and a resume as a legitimately talented director, and anything that Ben Best and Danny McBride collaborate on puts me in stitches. The amazing cast doesn't hurt, either. McBride, Franco, Deschanel and Portman... the 4 best looking people in Hollywood.

Great marketing opportunity if Franco and Portman win the Oscar this year..as they SHOULD!!!

Maybe you need a mac to run it properly. I have about a 10% success rate getting quicktime shit to work on any of the 3 computers I use regularly. Other video formats work perfectly on all of them. Is this related to that awful middle-ages mini series they ran on Comedy Central a few months ago? Cause I have to say it looks like clips from that pile of crap (no idea what it was called, no interest in looking it up). Like "Paul", this is a movie I really think I should find at least moderately entertaining based on the cast/writers, but I just can't see anything worthwhile in any of the trailers.
-
... that you cannot possibly have seen A Knights Tale if you think Your Highness resembles it in the slightest. Saying that Your Highness looks like A Knights Tale is like saying that National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation looks like Miracle on 34th Street.
-
... it's a fantasy/fairy tale setting with an American Pie/Dude Where's My Car attitude. Princess Bride shares the fairy tale setting, but not the attitude. Stardust on the other hand has both those things in common with Bride, and I love them both. I can only say that I hope Your Highness lives up to the trailer... Cop Out had a great Red Band trailer but was a bit of a disappointment.
-
Then you must be completely inept. I've never had a problem with playing videos through Quicktime, and I've never been a Mac user. Nor have I come across many Windows users having a problem with Quicktime. Seems to me like it's a user error. You might wanna replace the user, or use a typewriter.
-
and no matter how many times I update or re-install quicktime all it can deliver me is a "?"
-
This has both Natalie Portman and Zooey Deschanel, and so I will be seeing it.
-
The movie is actually a great raunchy adult R-Rated comedy. I saw it about twice over 6 months ago and both cuts were good.
-
It looks like shit, but I refuse to believe it is.
-
Watch "Eastbound & Down" you dolts!
-
I changed my password when they told me to, and I could no longer log in, so I had to give up the name Mockingbuddha, which I wasn't done with. Also, they would not answer my emails to tell me how to fix it. This movie looks funny though. I saw NP's ass in profile in that Hotel Cheveglanier or whatever, If the rumors are true that the panties were computered on, I know I'll enjoy that part. Plus, Pineapple Extreme was cool. Favorite scene is at the end where the guys are talking about everything that just happened.
-
Yeah, I remember the Queen music... ... I DON'T remember crude (funny) sex jokes, outlandish make-up, dragons, magic, nudity, crass gross out humour, or performances and characterisations that are (deliberately) incongruous with the setting. Similarly in Your Highness I don't see historical figures cleverly projected into a dramatised setting, significant and serious motivations and character arcs. But if music is enough to make two films seem the same to you, then I guess that means A Knights Tale was pretty much a clone of Highlander in your book ... Not just tonally similarly music, but the SAME ARTISTS!! QUEEN MUSIC AND SWORDS!!! A KNIGHTS TALE IS JUST A REMAKE OF HIGHLANDER!!!! FFS Seriously, what are you doing on a film web site? Get a ticket for the clue train and try again once you've been for a ride.
-
than Knight's Tale. But I'll stand corrected if they start stomping their feet to Queen.
-
Because of the Queen music, of course.
-
That joke was old in City Slickers 2
-
He must have an awesome agent.
-
...and Nat's perfect ass about ten times. Not a McBride fan, so I'll be getting this on blu-ray and watching the Portman scene in slo-mo.
Many, many times.
Until I finish.
-
I'd happily pay money for any movie starring Natalie Portman, because she's fucking gorgeous
-
I do have a feeling the movie is better than the trailer shows. I'm sure the next couple of trailers will give away some of the better gags in the movie. I am looking forward to it though.
-
If anyone's played "Final Fantasy X", you know what I'm talking about...Ridiculous hairdo? Smarmy attitude? Gaudy threads? Power staff? Yeah, these two are a lot alike. "I'm rich, I live in a castle, and oh yeah, I KNOW MAGIC!"
-
WTF guys....really?
-
They shot it twice—normal procedure for films like this.
-
her movements are completely identical in both shots, not to mention it just looks obviously fake in the greenband
-
yet feels so right. I don't know guys. It makes me smile. And I can't think of another idiosyncratic stoner comedy fantasy epic right now, so it seems pretty cool to me.
-
In days of old, when men were bold, and rubbers weren't invented, they slipped a sock....oh, well you know the rest, and that's why this will probably be pretty funny...stoned, which is a big enough market to make this lampoon profitable and suitable fodder for an April afternoon in 2011, or on iPod shortly thereafter.

Manos, in a post about two years ago you mentioned an Empire Strikes Back bootleg, I'm currently researching 'Theatrical Preservations' of the SW films and would love to hear more about your unique historical document. Can be contacted at pl1x@earthlink.net. Thanks. Here's your post: http://www.aintitcool.com/talkback_display/39615#comment_2428908
