Looks expensively made. Is it aimed at children or adults? The character designs look too real and scary for children. Doesn't seem to based on any popular intellectual property. And Johnny Depp is due for a flop.

Can't tell from the trailer, but it has a Muppet-like feel to it. (No, I'm not saying it looks JUST LIKE a Muppet movie, just the vibe I get). The March release date doesn't bode well for it, though.

Couldn't agree more. Love Blacksad. Too bad that the only way that a cartoon with an adult premise will not be produced in the U.S. any time soon. Pixar's pushing things, but - not that far. At least not yet.

Shame. Looks pretty good actually. The designs and lighting are amazing. The story seems to be a little High Noon with slapstick though.

That is one of the ugliest, most unappealing pieces of crap I've ever seen. They should hire a designer with at least a modicum of good taste--or any taste at all.

It's looks amazing. Not the story etc. but the animation looks great. And I can't deny that the Mumford & Sons song fits the trailer well.
