Quaid… Quaid… Start The Behind the Scenes Pic of the Day… Free Mars…
Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with today’s Behind the Scenes pic! I almost went with the “Makes me wish I had three hands” quote for the headline here, but then thought better of it. No three-boobed mutant Martian prostitute here, just two professionals showing a little bit of compassion with each other. Have I talked about how much I love Paul Verhoeven? As both a filmmaker and personality. I’ve featured the dude here before, making a monster face in front of ED-209, and you bet your bottom dollar I’ll feature him again. This isn’t a production photo… it looks more like the two goofing around during a publicity photoshoot, but still behind the scenes… just not of the filming. And it’s awesome. Now that Arnold Schwarzenegger is coming out of politics, let’s see these two together again, what say you?
If you have a pic you think should be included email me. I’m looking for the iconic, the rare or the just plain cool behind the scenes shots to feature here. Tomorrow’s pic is the sole white survivor of the battle of Little Big Horn. -Quint quint@aintitcool.com Follow Me On Twitter

So i can bang it!
-
This flick's outstanding.
-
One of Arnie's best lines in a movie ever!!! I love how he says that in his Austrian accent.
-
I miss you. Can't take the Rocks, Stathams and Diesels of today.
-
Now THAT'S news!
-
Such a great fucking movie. Not a goddamned chance the Colin Farrell remake will hold a candle to it.
-
As Jack Crabbe? I love Little Big Man. One of my favorites.
-
Great behind the scenes/goofing off pic of Arnie and Paul Verhoeven! I remember back when "Total Recall" came out in the Theaters..it was and still is a pretty cool movie to watch (although to this very day the las few minutes of the film STILL bug the crap out of me..SFX-wise and plot-wise!! ha ha!!) Most definitely it would be nice to see Schwartzenagger and Verhouven re-team up and do another film togeteher..maybe see an "Expendables" type film...how glorious would THAT be?! (Hey it worked for Mr. Stallone! :) )
-
It's disturbing to look at but you can't look away.
-
I have a friend here in Hollywood who was in the looping session for this movie with Arnie. They kept having to have him repeat "The core of Mars is full of ICE" because he kept saying "eeeeeyyyyyeeeesss" instead of "ice."
-
Colin Farrell aside, I think this is one movie that could truly benefit from a well thought out, darker remake. While I love this movie and Arnie was great in it, it has not weathered time very well. It trying to be an action sort of movie. The premise is great and in the right hands, you could really explore the deeper aspects of it, ala Inception.
-
FUCK YEAH. I pray to Crom that Arnold gets back on the cinema screens preferably in Crusades with Verhoven at the helm.

But entertaining in its sad way
-
I don't get why so many people think this flick didn't age well... I think a lot of it still looks great -- and I still don't think they're gonna improve anything other than the effects. So many awesome things in this movie. And so many great lines. Total Recall is easily in my top 10 sic-fi list. Easily.

Total Recall and Robocop are two of the most quotable movies in history. Damn I love those movies.
-
Blondes.
-
I could do this all night.
-
Even though that line is from Predator, not TR.
-
Everybody listen to that song right now. It fucking rocks.
-
Showgirls did kill Verhoeven's career in Hollywood, though.
