can de niro still delivers? survey says: sure hope so...
-
Sorry Herc, but technically the first person to say this is 'first' in an SNL threat. Foiled again!
-
Fuck yeah! Forget DeNiro :P
-
I'm expecting it to be awkward. Would rather have Stiller to be honest.
-
The Hader post of mine, was posted AFTER the Stiller one.

Weird.......
-
let's see if this works.
-
here, I'll test it out. I'll wait 5 minutes and then post a test post to see what happens.
-
See, if it was the first episode since Nov. 20, 2009, then it would deserve 2 explanation points. But since yer talking 2010, not really.
-
I expected to hate it, and I honestly could not stop laughing. I pimp that movie to anyone who will listen. Those two scenes...holy shit...I couldn't breathe
-
The throat lozenges gag was genius.
-
Strange things are afoot at the AICN
-
It's like my monitor switched resolutions when i clicked on the article...the AICN gremlin is out again
-
For me was hit or miss. And it missed a lot more than it hit. The only parts I found that funny had Kristen Wiig in them. And I didn't think the Celery gag was all that funny. Though I do agree with the bad guys, if I saw that I would probably be "WTF" too.
-
It just didn't work for me. Some funny moments, still put me to sleep in the middle.

It was a shame that Forte was fired over Macgruber's box office
by RedBull_Werewolf
this season is really lacking because of his loss. If Macgrubs had been a hit Forte would still be on the show and there wouldn't be all this blame game going on between forte and the studio. At least Will is getting some solid work through 30 rock and conan

Sean...Nobody cares how many times you change yer stupid goddamn name.
Here's an idea... Just call yourself "Sean Combs"...and hire a bunch of "NO" men who will STOP you from changing yer name again, you talentless hack.
It would also help if these "NO" men could sing for you, write ORIGINAL songs for you, dance well and legitimately rap for you.
Hey...I suddenly feel like Lois Griffin trying to explain to Peter that being the "Producer" of The King and I would better suit his "creative talents"...than him being the director...or STAR of the play.
Oh, well. This is why God created the "Mute" button on my remote. DeNiro will fucking kill it tonight.
-
Been having the same wieird shit happening to me the past two days accessing AICN. It wouldn't load in IE or Firefox for me yesterday. Now it's taking a long time for threads to load and ya get this squished problem, etc.
I think it's Disney execs trying to shut down this site down before Massa and Capone can dutifully rape TR2N a new asshole with their reviews.
-
...we were getting Blake Lively and Taylor Lautner. This year? DeNiro and Jeff Bridges. What a difference a year makes.

You know, if it wasn't mentioned in here from time to time...
by Hervoyel
I wouldn't even know SNL was still on the air.
-
Slow and glitchy. Plus, there's huge news not getting reported. But we have another SNL post, thank god.
-
I have to give Diddy "props" for Get Him to the Greek. He almost carries that moview himself. As a rapper, he's shit.
-
Watched it again yesterday for the first time since theaters.. I think the best laugh is MacGruber's notebook that's full of his stalkerish scribblings about the license plate and the final drawings...MacGruber actually does a really good job of planting comic seeds throughout the film and returning to them later for payoff (vs one-time gags): * The aforementioned license plate gag * Celery gag * "I'm going to rip off your dick and shove it in your mouth" only to be foiled
-
Sean Combs just changed his name again, to "Diddy Kong Country Returns".
-
I never get people who say it's not funny, It's actually pretty funny throughout and a few laugh out loud moments. I wish it made moremoney and there was a chance of a sequel
-
God, reason number 5,163,825 why I hate rap, hip-hop, and any and all idiots associated with that shit genre of music. Egotism does not equal talent, thugs!
-
The blonde dude on the TMZ show, is he kin to Fabio from Survivor? Dead ringer, man.
-
The more Hader, the better.
-
They did their homework on the resemblances of the TMZ reporters.
-
and Fabio came out of Central Casting. "Yeah, just send us a surfer dude".
-
Was that Dave Foley's kid!?
-
...sounds like an AICN username. Hell, all those titles did!
-
Site be fucked. This should be a confusing talkback tonight.
-
and this is the best sketch they could put him in? oooooooohhhhhhyyyyyyyy whats up with the writers, whats up with the writers?
-
This'll be the quietest and most sedate he's ever been. Ever.
-
Unfortunately, this isn't what I had in mind.
-
lil bit.
-
who knows the connection between robin williams and robert de niro?
-
Kristen Wiig's wigs.
-
....when he gets older?
-
true, but i was getting at they both saw belushi the night he died.
-
I'm there. Show has been back to form this year
-
...I got the urge for an Hader impression.

-
Hang it up, Puffy. And I haven't been keeping up with the rap game, but doesn't this sound a little bit like that one Eminem apology song?
-
Ashamed that I actually looked it up, but.... Dirty Money is the act associated with him. Together, like Voltron, they make Diddy Dirty Money. OR.... as I call it.... SHIT
-
Or you could just get an iPad. Yeah, that's how much I cared about the musical guest, I'm talking about the commercials.
-
Fix this shit, Harry. Better yet. Update to a new fucking board system. It's getting old. Or can you not take time away from kissing celeb ass?

There was Wiig cleavage in that TMZ skit earlier. Damn!

by cookepuss
-
I think Wiig needs that product from last week's episode
-
Between things and people. I choose people.
-
He's people.
-
...extremely strange out of context.
-
There were some eps in recent weeks where you could hear crickets fart. At least the audience seems to be legitimately having fun this week.
-
That film fan kid sketch was the only good thing about this ep.
-
I might as well just post some random shit and hope that it makes sense next to the post where it ends up.
-
I like people. I'm not gonna lie.
-
Hoo boy.
-
before 10:25pm
-
Not gonna lie.
-
C'mon.... it's gotta be people
-
YES!!!
-
NBC hopes so
-
*That's* what he's been up to all this time?
-
coming 2012
-
Stuff and people, yeah, yeah.
-
...is so freakishly hot, it's just goddamn weird, seriously, what ... is ... it?
-
the rest of the show not so much
And some of those people, who are supposedly better than stuff, upon reading this TB are going to be confused by the odd ordering of posts.
-
We've had relative "no laughter" episodes like the Emma Stone or Bryan Cranston hosted ones, each which had maybe one good skit. DeNiro wasn't given the best material this week, but at least we didn't have to damn Wiig's name to hell as much either.
-
You tell me... call me crazy but I choose people.
-
That Bill Murray is unfunny as hell. We need to get Chevy to come back. I seriously doubt this show will make it past 1983.
-
in act it was very ungood.
Sean "Puffy" Coombs give it up son yous run out playa
-
Bobby Moynahan is by far the worst player on SNL, possibly of all time. I'm sure there might have been someone worse during that Robert Downey/Anthony Michael Hall period, but I'd be surprised. When he plays teenagers or children on this show, it's akin to going full retard. It's fucking cringeworthy. Watching an old white man trying to rap is less uncomfortable than watching him do that.
-
just saw it last week, and it was way better than I expected. I loved the little things, like the crazy notebook, and him carrying his car stereo everywhere he went. And that disturbingly awkward sex scene had me in tears.
-
I usually treat Weekend Update as the go-to part of the show for the funny stuff but I'm not sure about the Polack joke...maybe because I'm Polish myself. It's not that I take myself too seriously cuz I will laugh at a good Polack joke any time of the day but it just seems like SNL can do better. Even part of the audience boo-ed it a bit. Other than that, I actually quite liked the episode. The most annoying sketch ever (WUWT) was saved by DeNiro and Williams, great cameo by Stiller and others were pretty funny as well. DeNiro seemed tense at times but he got out of that I think. Also here's a clue for Lorne and Seth: if you don't overuse Wiig she stops being annoying and reminds us that she is actually very talented and can be hilarious. Still, my favorite ep of the season is the Anne Hathaway one.
-
How do you from a former Beatle to the death of the music industry personified? WHAAAAATTTT?!?!?!
Can't we get Jeff Bridges and Paul McCartney on the same show, for the sane people, and the cartoon characters can watch the episode with Paul Rudd and Eminem?
BTW, as opposed to most "badass" intense actors, DeNiro actually seems to have a pretty good sense of humor. He was hilarious in "Meet the Parents" and "Analyze This"...wish he'd do more comedy.
-
Remember, Schumacher's drag queen crime comedy co-starring Philliph Seymour Hoffman? It was really good.
-
I'm setting the odds at 6:5.
-
...Though once again, I'm wondering why the hell they sized up the cast, if they can't put Abbie to good use more than once an episode. Need more Nasim, too. The Update visit by the Kardashians, dancing Boba Fett and the "Who have I gotta screw?" skit were the high points.
-
I liked the angry vegetable dad and his kid and the kid on the set of Fokers skit.
-
Top SNL gal. Maya Rudolph was sorta sexy, Poehler was hot back in her day and yeah even Racheal Dratch, I can't say no to a sense of humor and boobs. Potent combo.
-
She seems to be in every skit here lately.
