A week or two ago we pointed you to an interesting new web series from D23, Disney’s Official Fan Club. It’s called ARMCHAIR ARCHIVISTS, in which hosts Steve Czarnecki and Josh Turchetta plunge into the sprawling coolosity of the Disney archives on a weekly basis. In our piece, we mentioned that TRON related installments would soon be forthcoming…and one has now arrived.
You can find it HERE! It's the episode (currently) residing at the furthest left on the little selection bar thingie.
Yeah. So I want one of those TRON hats something fierce. Even if it doesn’t glow. Or that Identity Disk. Or…or…or…or...

as well as Olivia Wilde....I didn't even reqognize bg if not for this artiqle in a magazine this month....I thought she was pretty coo' in ff2 all things considered, and I even watched turistas cuz of her. and Olivia Wilde is married to an Italian prince, at least from what I remember when she was on Conan or some show.

Tron:Legacy is still a mystery because there isn't a single full review ANYWHERE on the internet. I'm waiting for te usual AICN talkback toolbag to come on here bashing Tron based on reviews that don't exist yet.

if the movie was good then someone scummy like Faraci would've tweeted "Got it going on like Donkey Tron!" or something. Just utter silence. Which means: bad movie. Every day as the film comes closer to release all you read about are stupid marketing gimmicks. If Disney had full confidence in critical reaction to the film critical embargoes would be gone, which is exactly what happened to avatar and the last two chris nolan films.

Fron what I've gathered online, very few people outside of the actors and those involved in the production have seen Tron Legacy. And there are some very postive one sentence lines out there as well as a few "looks amazing, breaks new ground but suffers from a poor script"... I thought Avatar suffered from a poor script and bland recycled story and it made a billion dollars anyway. The reviews will leak out in a week. The soundtrack and game come out next week on "TRON tuesday".

Is solid. Maybe one of the most complete scores you'll here. I just expected something more. Its just like a the most solid score you've heard. Which I guess is the twist because you'd figure Daft Punk would just put out techno stuff.

Realise y'all may rely on Amazon for crimbo gifts this year... but they just pulled Wikileaks off air due to White House bullying... not sure that has any relation to Tron... only in as much as controlled world/grid... that nothing can escape from... including the truth... Bridges' control-freak villain would be proud of current US administration me thinks?

Why the hell is Disney embargoing the original movie? I bought the Toy Story blurays to watch prior to the TS3 release. Why can't I do the same with Tron?!?

Really loved this episode, been following since Merrick first pointed it out a few weeks ago. I think this TRON one has had the highest production value and professional look to it, nice to see the show finding it's groove and warming up, looking forward to next week. Good luck to the Armchair Archivists.
