* The “Dancing With The Stars” finale should easily emerge as the week’s top non-football daypart. Despite the Tuesday edition’s huge surge, lead-in “No Ordinary Family” remained stuck in fourth place, barely up from last week’s all-time personal low.

* “Glee,” which did not air opposite “Dancing,” inexplicably hit its lowest score of the season, barely edging out “NCIS” as top 8 p.m. show.

* “The Biggest Loser,” which only competed with the weaker first half of the “Dancing” finale, hit its lowest score since I started keeping track about 15 months ago. * But “Parenthood,” which had to compete against the second, stronger hour of “Dancing,” actually rose from the all-time low it hit last week.

No Ordinary Family - Could have been great.

    by V'Shael

It was a nice move, to introduce a "kryptonite" to the mythology of the show. But they could have made a very very ballsy move if they had the let the teacher bleed out on the operating table.<br /><br />The brainy kid is trying to do the right thing, but it would be a good lesson to see that smarts doesn't always mean you know what the right thing is. Or that you can do it.<br /><br />It would be nice if the show-runners remembered that these people are not exactly training themselves with their new powers. People can and do make mistakes. And kids especially, can see situations spiral out of control.

No Ordinary Family doing better then The Event

    by CCon99

I fear for The Event when it comes back from its hiatus, shows lose a lot of viewers when a show disappears for long periods. Look what happened to The Event when it was off just that one week. It went from 2.0-2.2's down to a 1.7 rating.

  • Nov. 25, 2010, 5:32 a.m. CST

The Event is treading water, while the writers each week

    by V'Shael

have to find a way to keep the plot stationary, while providing the illusion of forward momentum. It's not easy.

    Glee

Is it too much to ask that by this time next year, cancellation rumors will be flying due to its rock bottom ratings? That would be sweet!

no ordinary family and the event.

    by soup74

gah. i watch both of these shows, just cause i like have a few hours of tv time at night, but man... it's feeling more and more like a chore. what V'Shael said is true, you can feel the added subplots just to stretch the damn show. and that last episode of no ordinary family was just ridiculous. apparently this teach has most of the doctors ignoring him and one loved one (his wife) who doesnt have time to be at the hospital noticing the fantastic four sneaking him into the surgery room. im all for suspension of disbelief (hey, i still watch dexter) but when they start pulling crap like that, it's hard for me to watch.

    by andrew coleman

Not anytime soon. That show has slowly dug itself into society. Hell it's even mentioned on other shows on other channels(Office). It's not going away anytime soon. When will Raising Hope go away? Watched an episode of it, then I wrote a letter to Fox demanding the thirty minutes of my life back. Horrible fucking show. Glad DWTS is done with for now tired of hearing about that shit.

Great news, Glee needs a good kick in the @$$

    by DrPain

It's been going down hill in character and story quality after the first 13 episodes of season 1. Which made me a fan.

I'm no doctor, but I've seen a bunch of doctor shows

    by jim

So I was wondering while watching No Ordinary Family, couldn't they have operated on the teacher by hooking him up to a bypass machine? What do they do when someone gets a heart transplant? Why couldn't they just have done that, stop the heart, remove the bar, sew up the hole, start the heart again?<p>Another question regarding the lip gloss kryptonite. Why wasn't the wife affected? It affects her husband after exposure and it affects the plant, so why not her? She was apparently wearing it all episode. Am I missing something or is the writing really that bad?

    Which one is Glee?

    by Drath

I need to get a You Tube of Kelly's description of Glee on the Office, it sums up anything worth saying about the show in a far more entertaining way than any obsessed fan can ever replicate. Also, I want to send the Terminator back in time to execute whoever had the idea to turn the fucking ratings into a weekly AICN shit game of survivor. You, sir or madame, are a douche.

SGU was fucking weird last week.

    by V'Shael

It was as if the writers had heard the criticism that they never kill people off. (Even when they get left behind, they find a way back to the ship eventually.) And so they pulled this weird plot line out of their asses.<br /><br />It was more like an old episode of the Twilight Zone, where nothing has to be explained or rationalised. Weird shit just happens with no explanation.

V'Shael ----- I know right? it was weird

    by DioxholsterImperium

But without reading spoilers people said it will be explained in the next episodes, its like some story-arch. It seems that those benevolent aliens wanted to help them out by defying "God's will" but they failed. At least thats what I think. Next episode and final one before break, will be about a war so im looking forward to that.

    DioxholsterImperium - God's will?

    by V'Shael

Are you fucking serious? The show is going to recreate the fucking mess that was Galactica?<br /><br />What was it the execs of SGU said? "If we make a good show, you'll watch it, and if we don't, you won't."<br /><br />Guess what dipsticks? You're making shit.

  • Nov. 26, 2010, 11:33 a.m. CST

"God's will" seems to be the case

    by DioxholsterImperium

but think about it this way, it wont be a surprise in the end because the show set the whole God thing up from the beginning. And since this is sci-fi stargate, you bet there will be a science side to this that is compelling. The question is why did the powerful aliens build that planet and why did they try to return those people back to destiny and not back to earth? also why are these powerful aliens doing God's work when at the same time we are lead to believe that there is some sort of supreme being behind all of this. So we got ascended ancients, superpowerful advanced god-like aliens, two other intelligent/tech advanced alien species and a supreme being or creator of the universe. And Destiny is involved in all this for whatever reason. Lucian Alliance want it, one group of aliens wanted it as well while another group are in control of the seed ships, what are they using the seed ships for? thats one question. it builds stargates so maybe they took control of it for building their own stargates in the places they want. Not sure if next episode will answer these questions, but theres lots of hype about it on the web so maybe.

  • Nov. 26, 2010, 7:20 p.m. CST

    another hunch

    by DioxholsterImperium

is that those powerful aliens really didnt know what they were doing and thought their "resurrection method" could work on humans. But the way they died just doesnt add up.

Glee was popular for awhile thanks to the gay demographic...

...but now those guys'll be too busy running from mobs of Teabag Republicans wielding baseball bats and have no time for TV.

The Great Gay St. Kurt storyline

    by parissun

may start to have a negative effect on Glee ratings. People know he's gay, move on to other characters already.
