* Frank Darabont’s “Walking Dead” remains the highest-rated scripted show on cable, and has yet to lose to CBS’ “CSI Miami” at 10 p.m.
* “Sarah Palin’s Alaska” is falling faster than its star’s approval ratings. Its second episode fell into a four-way tie with “Shake It Up,” “Sister Wives” and “Kendra.” “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” more than doubles Palin’s ratings. The last time we saw a new series plummet this hard may have been with Jeff Dunham’s puppet show on Comedy Central.
* “Boardwalk Empire’s” Harrowing antepenultimate season-one episode hit an uptick to cement its status as pay cable’s current top-rated series.
* Despite losing its longtime showrunner between this season and last, “Dexter” hit what I believe could be its all-time high in the 18-49 demo.
* Fox’s four Sunday cartoons all fell to new season lows.
* “60 Minutes,” following a ballgame, matched its season high.
* “Undercover Boss” also rebounded with an episode about a fiftysomething Subway exec and Crayons frontman taking orders from teen managers who looked at him like he was the biggest loser alive.
* “CSI Miami,” at the other end of CBS’ primetime lineup, matched its all-time series low.
