But I don't think she should ever be elected, to another public office. She should stick to being on television as an analyst and even TLC, for as long as they decide to carry the show. She is not qualified, to be president; and after the damage B.H. Obama is doing, we need a qualified candidate, to win in 2012.

Herc has been reporting on the KEY DEMO (ages 18 - 49 year) for more than a year, so I don't think this comes as a shock to anybody. The key demo is important because, let's face it, this is the number that advertisers look at. This is the target audience, not 50+. Furthermore, if Herc was "skewing" the numbers to get the result he wants, then he would have found a way to make the Dollhouse numbers look good.

saw a thing in the LATimes about why they go after that range. It's all about BRAND LOYALTY. They see it as a long term investment if they can get an 18+ hooked on their brand, where as a 50+ person is only going to support it for so long....
Nov. 16, 2010, 7:48 p.m. CST
It got 5 million viewers. They arent looking for brand loyalty is a mini-series. The headline of this article is did Walking Dead beat palins show. If you look at the entire viewership which the headline suggests then no it didnt. FYI .. I watched Walking Dead.

It's true I usually don't bother with total viewers but, for the record, "Walking Dead" (with 5,074,000 viewers) beat "Sarah Palin's Alaska" (4,957,000 total viewers) in total viewers as well.

Are the liberals who have MADE Sarah Palin into the financial, cultural and political phenomenon she's become, by their irrational and obsessed hatred of her. If she were as "insignificant" as you claim, you'd ignore her — rather than waste so much time, effort and money trying to destroy her — and she'd be as omnipresent as the LAST woman who ran for VP, Geraldine Ferraro.<p>But like I said, you guys are brain-dead, so you'll continue to achieve the exact OPPOSITE of what say you want — her disappearance from the public stage — with your non-stop jabbering about her. You am BIZARRO, indeed... :)
Nov. 17, 2010, 1:42 a.m. CST
She's a moron and she makes folks think they too could have millions and a TV show of their very own someday, if only they'd "get lucky." The problem is that unlike Snooki, Palin honestly thinks she's capable of running this country. Ludicrous but also deadly. Palin WOULD actually declare war on Norway AND the Pacific Ocean and think it was both "cute" and "patriotic."
Nov. 17, 2010, 2 a.m. CST
Obama was a half-term Senator who ALSO thought he was capable of running this country, and after only two years, actually HAS proven he's a moron. That's why his agenda got that "shallacking" a couple of weeks ago by the Independents who put him in office in the first place. It didn't take long. Palin's continues to show time and time again that both politically and financially, she's a hell of a lot smarter than the morons who continue mocking her. But like I said, you're simply too brain-dead to consider that she's largely a "Frankenstein" of your own creation. Silly liberal. ;)
Nov. 17, 2010, 2:13 a.m. CST
Because of the pre-empting, they showed a repeat, if they showed an episode at all, so shouldnt it be greyed out this week?
Nov. 17, 2010, 3:32 a.m. CST
Obama hasn't quit his job yet like a gutless redneck running some frontier State. <p> And the only people that Palin is smarter than are those Fly-over State morons who think she's actually remotely qualified to run this country, let alone a State or some Town on a backwater state in the middle of nowhere. <p> Oh and Liberals don't want Palin to disappear. Why would they want that? I mean she's practically the one who single handedly cost the Republicans the Senate in this mid-term elections and pulverized any chance McCain might have had in 2008. <p> In fact if Democrats are lucky, Sistah Sarah is a couple of months away from announcing a run for presidency and if Liberals are really really lucky, then she's a little over a year away from winning the Republican nomination so that she can get demolished in the General election by Obama with his hand tied behind his back. <p> The only people wishing she disappears are Republicans. Ask your buddy Karl Rove how he feels about her to see what I mean.
Nov. 17, 2010, 3:49 a.m. CST
is that indicates whether a particular show will be cancelled or not. If you're really so insecure about what you enjoy watching that you need some sort of validation that it's 'popular' then you're an idiot. But ratings do directly influence advertisers who's money keeps these shows on the air (except in the case of paid channels, obviously). That's why it doesn't matter if you downloaded the show from a torrent afterwards or DVRed it and then watched it while skipping through the commercials, your viewing that show has no influence over whether it will continue to be renewed. That's also why only the 18-48 demographic is paid attention to on this website (as has been pointed out ad naseum), that demographic is the demographic that spends the most money. It's all about keeping track of which shows will be on the air.
Nov. 17, 2010, 4:30 a.m. CST

Nov. 17, 2010, 7:22 a.m. CST
Mostly groceries and diapers. The key demographic will buy the DVDs, shirts, figures, comics and more. I also think Sarah will bottom out by the second or third episode. It must take courage to reveal your ignorance to everybody. Palin supporters are so proud of their ignorance and lack of true education! They are pleased with their lack of reason and their dangerous tastes in simplistic politics. But I guess it might be that they are such simpletons that they don't realize they are trumpeting their stupidity to the world. They may actually thing they're doing a smart thing. Which makes them terminally ignorant. When challenged over their support of the Great Simple One, they often turn belligerent because they have no sound argument for her political viability. They're like children, really. Extremely stupid children, who never learn and grow. Retarded children, I guess. Retarded children who will rape other children because they think it's funny.

I am NOT a "liberal"; I certainly HAVE lived in Socialist countries; I am NOT a Democrat.<p></p> I am an American.<p></p> However, unlike most of my fellow Americans, not only do I not blindly follow a specific party, but I am well aware that anything comprised of more than one is only as strong as the weakest component.<p></p> So while complaining about "Big Government" and "ObamaCare" and the laundry list of other things on the "Whine Du Jour" list, you can answer your won questions regarding what Obama has done so far: he's tried to have the Federal Government do what it was meant to do.<p></p> If States don't have healthcare in place that allows treatment to a retiree on a fixed income, then the Federal Government offers an option ... o-p-t-i-o-n ... to companies & employees to ensure that future retirees don't face the same obstacles to proper healthcare.<p></p> Is there REALLY an argument that Wall Street has been the life blood of this country's economy? Is there still any doubt that Wall Street had absolutely no real regulation on how it conducted business? Didn't Obama institute long overdue oversight and regulatory processes?<p></p> Where was the American Automobile Industry headed? What would be the proper word to describe where it would be today if not for the bailout?<p></p> These are bad things ... how?<p></p> After 8 years of bullshit from Clinton and another 8 years of cronyism by Dubya/Cheney, the one thing that should be agreed on is the respect & class Obama has brought back to the Presidency. What else would you call his reaction to having a Senator scream "YOU'RE A LIAR" during his speech?<p></p> Don't get it twisted, I do NOT think he's deserves a high grade so far. However, to call his proposals "socialism" is ignorant and to overlook what he's actually trying effect is shortsighted.<p></p> ... and for those who hung on his every word during the campaign and expected him to wave the ObamaWand and cure this country's problems: you should be the LAST people calling Palin Supporters the walking dead.<p></p> Blindly following anything based on what you're told and/or party affiliation leads to overlooking things like the now Republican Senate looking to strike down economic relief to the people and families of the people who were first to respond at Ground Zero.<p></p> That's neither a Democratic, Liberal, Republican, nor Conservative no brainer ... it's an American No Brainer.<p></p> There's something for those megaphones

When a Tempe homeless man found an abandoned backpack at a train station stocked with a laptop and $3,300 in cash, he deliberated about what to do -- and decided to turn it in. <p> ABC 15 reports that Dave Tally, who lost his home several years ago, called the Tempe Community Action Agency, a local homeless advocacy group, for assistance. <p> Tally told ABC 15: <p> "It's not something I wish anybody would have to go through because that's rough choices. There's a lot of things I could have taken care of but the fact of the matter was it was not my money. I didn't earn it." <p> It turns out the backpack belonged to an Arizona State University student, Bryan Belanger. His belongings went missing five days before, so he hadn't expected to see them again. Tally's kind return moved him: <p> "This is the greatest thing I've ever experienced, I think. It is really is a lesson to keep your faith in people. Character exists no matter what your circumstances are." <p> http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/11/18/homeless-man-turns-in-bac_n_785558.html

Each side blames the other for their lack of success, when in fact none of them are doing a thing for us. They're only making themselves "successful" at our cost. Go ahead and hate the Dems, but if you're not equally hating the GOP, then you're a deluded fool, and have played right into the hands of your puppet masters. Congratulations, idiot. You're one of those who's helping bring this country down. And you don't even know it. God, now THAT'S stupidity.

These moronic political talkbacks. The disgusting comments. All the clearly self-deluded and blindly hateful TBers. Pitiful.

Clearly it's because they didn't get a green ring sent to them.

Did you watch the last episode? What soap opera have you seen ever that had a scene with a racist biker thug handcuffed to the top of a building asking God for forgiveness and promising to change his ways if God helped him just this once and then quickly reverting back to his toughguy persona and telling God that he'll doesn't need his help and will never beg for it. This was one of the most honest scenes I've seen on tv in a long time and it came from a bit character.

"...I want to know about that, too."<p> Really? And you think about BSB is ranting about non-issue bullshit???

Just compare Sarah Palin to Nancy Pelosi and Joe Biden. I'm not fans of either one of them, but they are smarter than fucking Sarah Palin. I'm not saying that she's a total retard because she's making money so she's obviously doing something right. But to put Pelosi and Biden in the same category is stupid. I would feel a hell of a lot safer with those two, or any of the Republicans who ran for office in 08, over Sarah Palin.

I have been listening to Biden for years and there's a reason people in politics call him 'Slow joe Biden'. I could post you some clips that would make your head spin. Now, i'm not saying Palins' smarter than he...given enough time she may rack up enough gaffes to compete with him. I hate neither of them. They both seem pretty neighborly people.<p> Palosi on the other hand...she is off the reservation. Don't you see it in her eyes? I'm not even being mean when I say I think she is crazy. I have liberal friends and family member who agree. They can see it too. <p> If you think her "... we have to pass the bill (Obamacare) so that you can find out what is in it" comment is the mark of an intelligent, capable person then whatever. <p>

Biden's an average joe (pun intended). Bush said much more stupid things than Biden by far, but I still would not say that Bush is devoid of intelligence. That said, I don't like Pelosi very much. I too see the crazy eyes and I hate her forced smile. I am also very disappointed that the Dems chose her again as their leader in the House given that she is largely the face of what people voted against. That said, both Biden and Pelosi are genius' compared to Palin.

Dude, how about the time at a speech when Biden introduced Senator Chuck Graham (who's in a wheelchair) and told him to stand up so the crowd could see him.<p> Or when talking about Dunkin' Donuts he said "You cannot go to a 7-11 or a Dunkin' Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent.... I'm not joking." <p> Now, these are funny. Shit happens. I get it. I don't post these as any kind of 'gotcha' bullshit....But take those same incidents I just posted and play them in your mind with Palin saying those things....<p> Holy shit...the media would be calling her a stupid bitch and there would be SNL skits abound. <p> An irrational hostility toward Palin magnifies EVERYTHING she does.
Nov. 19, 2010, 3:42 p.m. CST
Dr., you may be right. I find Palin more annoying than I do unintelligent, but I think that says more about how incredibly annoying she is than it does about her intelligence.
