Yes! Somebody finally had the notion to stick “Bad To The Bone” in a movie:
To be fair, the target audience for “Megamind” is likely too young to remember “Terminator 2,” “Problem Child,” “Christine,” “Major Payne,” “Joe Dirt,” “The Parent Trap.” Oh, wait, what? It was used in “Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore” this summer? Well, never mind!
“Megamind” was directed by Tom McGrath (both “Madagascar” movies) from a script by newcomers Alan Schoolcraft and Brent Simons.
The clip suggests this might be better than a lot of DreamWorks stuff. It also makes me think maybe Joss Whedon should maybe think about animating his next Dr. Horrible project.
