...with a heads-up to our readers in Washington, D.C. Seems Mister Bay will soon be rolling into our nation's capital to shoot sequences for TRANSFORMERS 3, almost certainly bringing his requisite destruction and chaos along for a visit. THIS piece from the Washington Post indicates that Bay & Co. have already met with some resistance from the Park Service, who weren't exactly ebullient about nutty little notions like staging a car chase through the National Mall. Seems the TRANSFORMERS 3 team will need to take an alternate approach to a few conceits - changing their ideas, maybe? Rendering more digital work, perhaps? We'll see. Nonetheless, TRANSFORMERS 3 is still doing enough filming in Washington to cause road closures, parking restrictions, etc. What appears below is a list of said road closures and parking restrictions - as recently presented. It's safe to assume a bit of tweaking will be be done to this list as shooting nears, so be sure to factor a slight margin for error into your plans/movements.
