Meet The New Boss!! A Different MEN IN BLACK Leader Has Been Cast!!

I am – Hercules!! The great Emma Thompson (“Howards’ End,” “Remains of the Day,” “Sense and Sensibility,” “Love Actually,” etc. etc. etc.) has joined the cast of “Men in Black 3” as Oh, the head of MIB, according to Deadline Hollywood. Unless the amazing Rip Torn (“Defending Your Life,” “The Larry Sanders Show”) has gone so batshit crazy he’s no longer available to play MIB leader Zed, I’ll assume for now that Oh is the MIB leader circa 1969, where a sizeable chunk of the time-hopping sequel is set. Also joining franchise vets Will Smith, Tommy Lee Jones and director Barry Sonnenfeld are series newcomers Josh Brolin (Jones’ co-star from “No Country For Old Men”), playing the 1969 version of Tommy Lee Jones’ character, and Jemaine Clement (“Flight of the Conchords”), who plays the villainous Boris. Etan Cohen (“Idiocracy,” “Tropic Thunder”), not to be confused with “No Country For Old Men” writer-director (and Etan Cohen anagram) Ethan Coen, wrote the MIB3 screenplay.
