Developing Sci-Fi Series For Fox!!
I am – Hercules!!
Sam Raimi’s Stars Road Productions is developing three hourlongs for three networks, according to Deadline Hollywood.
1) “Smokers,” for Fox, is a mockumentary from writer-producer Brian K. Vaughn (“Lost,” “Y: The Last Man”) about blue-collar extraterrestrial hunters.
2) “Lancaster,” for CBS, is a crime drama from writer-producer Andrew Lipsitz (“CSI”) about a Scotland Yard detective who joins the Los Angeles Police Department.
3) An untitled ABC project from writer-producer Dee Johnson (“The Good Wife”) deals with a female assistant district attorney who moonlights as a vigilante.

Make Ex Machnia a tv series, make Y The Last Man a tv series, but please put neither of them on Fox,put them on HBO or AMC. They both would make great 2-3 season show of 12 eps a season.

Was on the wrong channel, network tv is dead for creativity and imagination, watched the first episode not brilliant but interesting and would have liked to see it play out for at least a seaon,, 12 eps on cable would have been perfect. Not really an expensive show to make either

Didn't that script sell for like 5 million dollars, and people kept talking it up as the next Ghostbusters? It actually did sound like a pretty cool idea, so I'm just wondering why there's been seemingly no movement on the project for almost 2 years.

GETTING AROUND AICN IP BAN..WORKED FOR ME (5 TIMES)

Its not hard..this site runs web 1.0 from 19fucking98...want to get around AICN IP ban..heres how...In your browser type in 192.168.1.1(if not reset your router) and you will get a username and password prompt. For the username (for most linksys routers) is admin and the password is admin (if not reset your router and if that doesnt work consult your manual). Ok now your in. Please click on MAC Address Clone in the setup tab. Alright now click enable if its not already enabled. Now you can change all the numbers for your mac address! Change all the numbers in the mac address (it may give you errors like out of range, to fix this only use numbers 1-9 and letters a-f) to different things! But before you click save settings i most warn you. You will still have access to your router but your internet will be disabled until you successfully complete the next step! now click Save Settings and wait, It may take awhile. After it says its completed or if the page refreshed click the Status tab. Your IP and mac and everything will be 0.0.0.0 and your internet will be disabled. Next go to your router and unplug it and unplug the modem too! When they are both off wait 1 minute and plug them back in. Wait for them to both get initialized and ready and go back to your computer. Your computer should now be internet connection enabled again with an entirely new ip address

Sounds great, but "Smokers"? Really? Terrible name. It may make sense within the context of the show, but there are waaaaay too many jokes that could be done with it, and it does give the wrong impression as to what the show is about.

I second the enthusiasm over an American show allowing a British actor to keep his accent (um, they ARE using a Brit, right?)... but really? ANOTHER crime drama? Let's just hope it's better than the other 12,000 crime dramas out there.

me on anything anymore. I was excited to see his name on Legend of the Seeker (stupid title for the SoT novels, not-withstanding) and then watched as he basically walked away before the ink dried. With the exception of shoe-horning his brother into a couple episodes I don't think he had even the smallest of input on anything filmed, and if so shame on him for soiling his reputation with that shit. Now I can no longer trust a show to be worth watching simply because his name is on it.

kidding. I love Y, and am hoping it gets made into an HBO, Showtime, or AMC series. But I really hope it's Showtime or HBO, because AMC would have to cut some stuff out that the others could have in.

I think Vaughn kinda pussed out on the answer to the Ultimate Question in Y, even saying in interviews "Well, there were LOTS of answers and the journey is really the point and blah blah blah". I just go with the clone kid causing massive male instant death because that's what Dr. Mann's father said. Of course, I still don't get why when Mann started creating clones of herself and Yorrick why it didn't happen all over again, but it's best not to think about it. Emotionally, the ending of the series was right anyway, which is what counts. But I'll be fucked if I know what wiped out mankind, which is kind of a frustratingly vague note to end the series on.

Sam Rami had a hand in American Gothic, another cool show that the networks had not patience for, and released a shitty DVD set of two-sided DVDs and the wrong episode order, but I digress...I guess based on the coolness of American Gothic. But I liked him, and I think it's wrong that he of all people got banned by someone with power who was obviously in a poor mood.
