More on Interactive TV.

Here's what one of you had to say about the infancy of interactive tv:

"I get the Wink in NYC, and it is not that robust as of yet. ESPN has it,
and they hardly ever have any updated scores. Right now, the icon pops op
at intermittent times while you are watching, and it does get annoying fast.
I like the program guide feature from TW, they should put the icon for Wink
stuff there. Nothing to salivate over at all.

Another, more-than-somewhat-biased reader had this to say:

Buenos dias, Senor Cosmico. (I've just used my entire Spanish
vocabulary in the first sentence.... 8^)

Saw your Wink article, and forgive me for blowing my own horn, but
please have a look at http://www.sourcemedia.com/ (particularly
VirtualModem) and http://www.intchan.com/. The short version is that
we're the first deployed fully-digital interactive TV system in the
U.S. (AFAIK, Wink is still analog, i.e. needs a phone line.)

Okay...I don't think I've gotten much of a good picture of this stuff...and I'd really like to keep an ongoing discussion of interactive TV as it develops. It seems pretty clear that we're going to have to live with this stuff in one form or another. Further feedback would rock the house.
