Here's One Idea For A Live Action POKEMON Movie... (Video Within!!)

Last week, The Net got a look at this snippet of footage that appeared to be a proof-of-concept for (or fan film demonstrating) a live action POKEMON movie. Not surprisingly, a full trailer (from which the material above was excised) has now gone online in lovely HD - it's embedded below for your consideration. Part of me's pretty impressed by what they accomplished here - this kinda reel is no small task and the folks behind it should be commended for getting it off the ground. On the other hand...I'm struggling to take the notion of a live-action POKEMON movie seriously, and suspect many others would have this problem as well. Although, I'll be the first to admit that POKEMON isn't necessarily my 'cup of tea', so what do I know? I do think the reel below does a nice job of demonstrating that POKEMON can be about more than a little boy running around playing with his balls - which is an essential element, I should think, in convincing The Powers That Be that a (official) picture of this type should be attempted. Here's the trailer...what do you think?
