i noticed the same problem with the comic but during emergencies all lanes of traffic are opened to traffic fleeing cities. having half the freeway empty wile the other half is gridlocked just wouldnt happen. <p>call me, we'll do lunch

and go the opposite way on the highway...of course they would. But yeah, still an image that say something..more figurative than literal.

it's been said, i'm just repeating, i know. i do forgive the idea too, and i imagine maybe it would even happen so quick that emergency procedure couldn't organize the other lanes in time, but you'd still have panicked people who'd cut over to the other side. all said and done, it's a good idea to have a motorcycle, scooter or moped for the highways during a zombie apocalypse.

Are they going to tackle necro-pedophilia? I have to say the scene with the governor and his daughter was one of the most shocking things I’ve ever read. I would be surprised if they even hinted at it in the show.

but I like the image of the cowboy, it adds a nice contrast. AND not a zombie in sight, which is nice.

Rather than a real scene out of the show. I don't know if this is their plan in the show, but in the comic they were actually trying to get people IN TO the large cities so that they could protect them in one large area rather than trying to evacuate them

Shock value does not a good ending make. Unless it's DePalma's The Fury... Decent movie, classic book.

Will you people stop whining about the right lane being empty? You keep talking about emergency procedures...Martial law is also an emergency procedure, that's where they put a bullet in the head of any dumbass trying to jump lanes and do his own thing on the highway. I know, because I've been through a few hurricanes living in Florida. They tell you to stay inside your house or risk being shot...stay inside until they tell you it's okay to leave, or you will be shot.

Hopefully the zombie genre will be re-energized despite Romero's intense efforts to destroy it with extremely bad movies over the past several years.

Great show but Egg was a fucking pussy for putting up with that bitch girlfriend of his Milly... What a Bitch! Even thinking about it now just makes my blood boil, and it was on TV almost 15 years ago! Best thing about that show was Anna, great character!

and as much as I like King he can tend to leave his stories with an open ending and this had a fitting ending that was memorable. The only thing I felt was missing was right after the tank came out I think Nelson from the Simpsons should have popped up with a "HaHa!". And then the credits could roll. Fin.
