STAR TREK's Bryan Fuller And The Producers Of AMERICAN BEAUTY And MILK Are Teaming Up For...A PINOCCHIO Movie!?

Dan Jinks, producer of AMERICAN BEAUTY, MILK, and ABC's PUSHING DAISIES is re-teaming with DAISIES creator/writer/Executive Producer Bryan Fuller to launch a big screen, live action version of PINOCCHIO. Roberto Benigni appeared as the character in a film he directed back in 2002 - that picture didn't work particularly well. I believe it may represent the most recent movie version of Carlo Collodi's 1883 source material... Bryan Fuller was also a writer on STAR TREKs DEEP SPACE NINE and VOYAGER (and was a producer on the later), as well as HEROES and WONDEFALLS (which he also co-created). Find more at Variety, HERE.
