CBS, the only major network that never had a J.J. Abrams series to call its own, has greenlit a pilot for the crime thriller “Person of Interest,” from Abrams and “Dark Knight” co-writer Jonathan “Jonah” Nolan.
The project's premise is not yet public knowledge.
Nolan also co-wrote “The Prestige” and wrote the short story on which “Memento” is based.
Abrams had “Felicity” at The WB and “Alias” and “Lost” at ABC, and has “Fringe” at Fox. “Undercovers,” whose pilot Abrams co-wrote and directed, launches on NBC in a few days.
