Hey folks, Harry here... I saw THE SOCIAL NETWORK earlier today, and I don't lightly say this, but in a small way - the film literally changed my life. Strictly in a business sense. The film is easily one of the best films of 2010 that I have seen - and we've a whole host of killer films on the horizon that I need to see - but next to nearly dying this year, watching SOCIAL NETWORK and having the personal realization that I had... wow. GOOD YEAR. Now - on TUESDAY - September 21st, at 6pm at the Alamo Drafthouse South - I'm hosting a screening of David Fincher's astonishingly great THE SOCIAL NETWORK. One of the key reasons this film is great is in no small way due to the 3 gentlemen that will be attending the screening with us. We'll be having Jesse Eisenberg, who plays Mark Zuckerberg - probably one of the most likably asshole-ish pricks I've seen in the history of cinema. I'll get more into that with my review. Coming tonight. But having Eisenberg there is a very good thing. He's one of the younger actors that I've admired on film for the last half decade, but never had a chance to meet. We'll also have Armie Hammer who plays Cameron Winklevoss, who is also one of the most captivating characters in the film - and I guarantee you'll have questions for him. And finally, we'll have Screenwriter Aaron Sorkin there to talk about the film. When you see the opening scene of THE SOCIAL NETWORK - as Jesse is having drinks with his girlfriend in a College bar - you'll instantly realize... "THE FUCKING WRITING RULES!" It does.
