Psych and The Closer.

Dexter and Weeds and all premium channels are must watch, but Netflix contenders for me.
Sept. 13, 2010, 3 p.m. CST
Toss "Mad Men" in with my listing of "Psych and The Closer", though Closer is predictable and Psych is hit or miss this season, mostly miss with their last episode.
Sept. 13, 2010, 3:11 p.m. CST
Anyone know when they start?
Sept. 13, 2010, 3:29 p.m. CST
Not much room to try out new shows. My DVR gives me the finger when I try to schedule another series.
Sept. 13, 2010, 4:10 p.m. CST
Then-again, last season was eh and it really cut itself short.

Sons of Anarchy, Boardwalk Empire, Dexter, Community, Fringe, Supernatural, SGU, Caprica, South Park, Friday Night Lights and Walking Dead. Bring it on.
Sept. 13, 2010, 9:38 p.m. CST
Not only will those shows outlast the Fox network, they will possibly outlast human civilization! Is there any other network that has prime-time TV series that began at their inception and are still going to this day?

Premieres on Sept 17th. If you're gonna list the abomination that is Clone Wars, at least give this a mention.

I actually kind of enjoy Human Target. It's like a cross between the euphoric action of Burn Notice (but not as smart), and the single-handed bad-assery of 24 (without the half-decent drama). Plus, it's just plain fun to watch.

In all honesty, Human Target is a very old-fashioned show--it's like the action series of the mid 80s/early 90s like the A-Team or Brisco County Jr. The hero gets stuck in awful situations, always manages to come clear in a fantastical way, and gets the girl, all without getting a scratch because of pure skill (or deus ex machina). It hearkens back to an earlier age of action television where shows were about entertainment and fun. Although, I will be the first to admit that some parts of Human Target are rather weak. But it's always fun to watch, even when it's less than stellar.

This is the last season for Brave and the Bold - it's been canceled despite two new video games and a McDonald's Happy Meal toy push. Boo; best Batman cartoon ever.

Are you forgetting Boardwalk Empire or not including HBO shows?
Sept. 14, 2010, 8:56 p.m. CST
I have been predicting for months now a Great DVR Crisis of 2011. There will be so many incredible shows airing that there are going to be unresolvable DVR conflicts for much of the year. Boardwalk Empire, Treme, Luck (Milch/Mann/Hoffman/Nolte/Farina), Game of Thrones, Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, Mad Men, the upcoming AMC thing, Rubicon in the event that it's still airing (and if you're into it). God help us all if we have to watch reality shows or anything on the networks. The day of reckoning draws near.
Oct. 11, 2010, 1:11 p.m. CST
I watch 'em on Netflix. Entourage and Weeds I think are the only ones I catch. Never even heard of Boardwalk Empire.
