KINGS’ Allison Miller
Cast In Fox’s Dinosaur
Adventure TERRA NOVA!!
I am – Hercules!!
24-year-old Allison Miller (Ian McShane’s hot daughter in “Kings”) is the second actor to be cast in Fox’s 2011 dinosaur adventure “Terra Nova” after 38-year-old Jason O’Mara (“Life On Mars”).
According to Variety:
Miller will star as Skye, a veteran Terra Nova resident who takes O'Mara's character's son under her wing.
The sci-fi series is about humans who escape from a horrifying near future into the prehistoric past via a “wormhole.”
Steven Spielberg (“ER,” “Fallen Skies”) is the marquee name behind the project, which features a lot of talent from Imagine’s “24,” including showrunners David Fury (“Lost”) and Brannon Braga (“FastForward”) and director-producer Jon Cassar (“Mutant X”).

With her vagina.
-
They've cast pretty much the whole first season at this point and been shooting for the last couple months. Gotta give us something man.
-
To a dinosaur filled past. Not, say, a civilised recent past or anything sensible like that.
-
Because everyone knows that when you travel through time via a wormhole you always get to decide which time period you end up in. Geez what were the writers thinking? Why do they have to make up stories about time travel when they should just stick to reality.
-
guy: "we gotta go now!" other guy: "but we don't know where it goes!" third guy: "we don't have a choice!" [World ends as they step through.] Seen it a million times, mostly on SG1 and Sliders.
-
way too early. That was a surprisingly good show. You would have thought NBC could have convinced a bunch of Jesus freaks to watch the series, that is, if they didn't object to a little tweaking of their precious Bible.
-
big fish monsters with legs!! <p> I've been looking for that damn monster from the Han river for years now... <p> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F6UXqnto6R0 <p> Any news on The Host 2?
-
is simply "Land of the Lost" reimagined. Istead of rafting down a waterfall the characters will "escape through a wormhole". If there be Sleestak, I'm in.
-
Such an excellent show. Probably the best thing NBC has made in years and years. And they unceremoniously buttfucked it with time slot changes, wasted SO much money (it was an expensive as fuck looking show), had a completely retarded and underwhelming marketing campaign, and then cancelled it without even running all the episodes on a normal night. Same thing as Persons Unknown. Literally, if 10 million people don't watch the pilot of an NBC show, consider it cancelled. Persons and Unknown and Kings were both fucking awesome, and I had to finish Kings, and will have to finish P.U., on fucking saturday nights. I hate yo NBC. Youre honestly fucking retarded.
-
What would a talkback be without some cynic bashing someone's religious beliefs? Kings was a pretty damn good show.

having Braga involoved scares he shit out of me.<br> <br> <br>

having Braga involved scares the shit out of me.<br> <br> <br> {will we never get an edit function?} <br> <br>
-
Guess they'll just have to ignore the part about earths atmosphere being different at the time of the dino's and humans not being able to survive in it. And Kings was a fantastic show. I still hold out hope that some author continues the story in book format.
-
My God is this going to suck.
-
I'd forgotten about it until someone mentioned the Biblical book just yesterday.
-
It's the first place I'd go! Love to see me some terrible lizzards.
-
If NBC produces or broadcasts anything halfway decent, condider it canceled. And Vice Versa. I'm surprised we aren't on Season 4 of Moronic Woman by now. I just caught up with the last tw oepisdoes of Person Unknown last night. One of which was not even broadcast. Look forward to the last 2 hours tomorrow night. at least they are showing those.
-
Did you catch the Prisoner reference in the last episdoe of Persons?
-
Answer: Braga<p>Doesn't surprise me at all with his track record, damn near everything that guy's involved with includes time travel. It's been said: "Those who visit the same creative well too often will soon find it has run dry."<p>I'm not one to jump on the naysayer bandwagon, but in this case....FAIL. In a *big* way.

So she'll be the standard Hot Cavegirl?
by HarryKnowlesNonExistentInceptionReview
Or will they glue fake fur to her and she'll be a female Chakka?

The atmosphere had way more oxygen in dino days...
by HarryKnowlesNonExistentInceptionReview
...humans would probably be walking around buzzed all the time.
-
That's what this headline needed to be.
-
Very good show. It has the King dude in it.
-
There was actually more CO2 back then. THat's why the plants were so large and plentiful.
-
I agree with the earlier posts. KINGS was different. It was unique and Im not a bible freak but most of that stuff was in sunday school. Anyways, wonder how it could have been if HBO could have picked it up. That reminds me, GAME OF THRONES BEST TV in 2011. Fuck Spielberg
-
ummmmmmmm, actually, they were BOTH correct: <p> "The atmosphere's composition during the Mesozoic was vastly different as well. Carbon dioxide levels were up to 12 times higher than today's levels, and oxygen formed 32 to 35% of the atmosphere, compared to 21% today."
-
You mean Ian McShane, also noted for Deadwood and Lovejoy.

Seriously there must be literally thousands of spec scripts floating around with great original ideas, and they go with THIS?! SOOO let me get this straight. Mankind has polluted the Earth, so they go back in time (through a wormhole no less) and pollute the past? Someone actually got paid for coming up with that?
-
Yeah, I'm not sure a modern human could survive at sea level in the Mesozoic. And if you really want to pickle your brain read this article on the Square-Cube Law. http://dinosaurtheory.com/index.html

I loved Kings, but her scenes were unbearable.
-
Quite an excellent series. Along with SPARTACUS, this puts Starz on the map big-time! I'm glad I never read the book, though, as the show suprises me every week with its twists and turns. Another compelling reason to go Netflix!
-
Sigh...as much as I love Lost and as satisfied as I am with the finale, I really wish he would have stuck around on Lost as a writer. I wonder how different the show would have been if he had stuck around.
-
I am jaded and cynical I know but have witnessed it many times. So many spec writers who manage to land a decent agent, or win a notable industry contest, and still don't get anywhere.
-
liked him a lot in the short-lived US "Life on Mars"

EVER.

She's on a Jennifer Love Hewitt scale of talent. Without the large tatas.
-
Jennifer Love Hewitt...............

I'm thinking of pitching a concept to the studios where a group of airplane passengers are hit by a freak storm and switch to a another universe , to an Earth just like ours---except it has dinosaurs and vampires fighting for ascendency.<P> <P> Oh and there'd be lots of inter species sex.
-
a group of airplane passengers with super powers. And have at least one character be a blatant homage to someone on Jersey Shore. And have the theme song sung by some kid you saw on Youtube. Oh, and don't forget the cute play-on-words title like "Universally Yours" or "Freak of Nature" or "Out of This World".
-
Really this sounds likes Earth2. and Earth2 was not good.
