Abstinence Advocate
Bristol Palin Joins ABC's

I am – Hercules!! “Star” is redefined again, and the Emmys should think about saluting John McCain for all his contributions to the reality genre. Nineteen-year-old Bristol Palin - the longtime abstinence advocate famous for, among other things, the lack of contraception that resulted in the 2008 birth of love child Tripp Johnston – will compete on the next "Dancing With The Stars" alongside former “The Hills” star Audrina Partridge, former “America’s Got Talent” star David Hasselhoff, former “America’s Got Talent” star Brandy Norwood, former Laker Rick Fox, pop star Michael Bolton and Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino from “Jersey Shore,” according to E! sources. Palin was back in the news recently when she briefly renewed her relationship with baby-daddy Levi Johnston -- but no word has yet emerged on whether or not she maintained her stand on celibacy as the couple renewed their friendship this summer. Palin’s mom, who says she believes David Letterman likes to joke about rape on his late-night chat show, has her own reality show, “Sarah Palin’s Alaska,” coming this fall to TLC. The father of Bristol’s toddler, Levi Johnston, is reportedly pitching a reality show about him running for mayor of Wasilla, Alaska. Find all of E!’s exclusive on the matter here. "Dancing With The Stars" returns to ABC Sept. 20.

Hercules can't ignore anyone named Palin

    by ErichZann

Seriously, the only Palin I want to hear about on this site is Michael Palin. I don't get why Herc feels the need to take every chance he can get to talk about Bristol's sex life.

  • Aug. 27, 2010, 2:34 a.m. CST

Michael Palin rules my world. And I would report on his sex life more if he'd take a stand on celibacy. <p>Galahad's favorite color is yellow.

    by secure214

Sarah has the nerve to sarcastically call Levi "Ricky Hollywood" and joke about Obama's "celebrity" when her OWN FUCKING DAUGHTER has already appeared on 1 TV drama(Secret Life of the American Teenager), talk shows(Oprah), magazine covers, and now Dancing with the Stars?? Not to mention the reality show that's coming out soon(Sarah Palin's Alaska) The Palin's are all celebrity whores & hypocrites!

  • Aug. 27, 2010, 2:58 a.m. CST

LOL. Sure, that's why you write about Bristol

    by ErichZann

Admit it, you love sticking it to conservatives who get caught with their pants down / skirt up. Who else do you write about that you make sure to mention things like "no word has yet emerged on whether or not she maintained her stand on celibacy as the couple renewed their friendship this summer" ? The main site is able to write things about Polanski without having to stick in "no word on whether or not he's fucking any more underage girls." ITS NOT RELEVANT.

  • Aug. 27, 2010, 3:27 a.m. CST

    by brabon300

it is relevant, you wingnut twit<p>that coke whore chose to keep her life public...therefore anything she does can be speculated on<p>and polanski aint no hero to liberals...hes a perverted freak who should have his balls cut off<p>the big buzz now is, since candidates whom she backed in last tuesday's primary all won, she has juice for 2012...i pray that she wins the nomination<p>either she wins the general and sends this country right into the toilet so we can finally have the revolution that jefferson wanted us to have...or she spells the end of the repuke party<p>either way, its a win/win situation

  • Aug. 27, 2010, 3:34 a.m. CST

I for one would like an update on Polanski's activities.

    by dailysportspages

Polanski should write and direct a modern version of Lolita. <br> Have it be about a rich filmmaker, his famous friends, and a young wannabe starlet who terrorizes him with her smooth vagine.

  • Aug. 27, 2010, 3:54 a.m. CST are wrong.

    by MonkeyManReturns

Polanski's dirty, illegal and immoral activites have been discussed here in articles. And Palin is appearing on a tv reality show, which makes her bio an important part of the write up - especially her hypocrisy towards celebacy. This has nothing to do with politics and more to do with journalism.

I don't get the Palins at all

    by FlandersBum

One would think they would all be trying to keep out of the spotlight as much as possible after all the hate from the left and attacks from the media. Moves like this keep them in the headlines and late night comedy routines. It's like they're just asking to be made fun of. They should all just move to someplace more remote than Alaska...perhaps Siberia.

Biggest freaking hypocrites the Palin family

    by The Founder

Except for the minors. Sarah Palin like itnor not has star quality. I don't agree with the woman's politics but what burns me about her and the right wing sh!ts that back her is that they are some damn hypocrital. Her supporters don't even freaking see this woman is a damn opportunist. She failed at being a Gov for the sake to cash in. She loves the spotlight. They bash Obama for things they would've done no different. Anyone who got elected rather democrat or Republican would've taken the same bailout road bullshit that is going on now because it had to be done. McCain/Palin duo would've done the exact same shit Obama had to do cause all the politicians in Washington allowed the shit to happen cause Corporate moos run their asses. The economy blew up in their faces and it's their fault and we all suffer save for the rich fat cats who caused this mess and they got away with it. That's the worst part. They got away with.

    Bristol on abstinence

    by zacdilone

Everyone thinks they're so fucking clever when they talk about Bristol Palin's message of abstinence by pointing out she had a child out of wedlock. I suppose former drug addicts can't speak out against drug abuse and former criminals can't speak to students about avoiding a life of crime. I fear a Palin presidency as much as the next guy, but to say that a kid can't tell how their mistakes led them to a different outlook on life is just plain ridiculous.

  • Aug. 27, 2010, 1:39 p.m. CST

Look, you can make fun of her all you want about her

    by Coughlins Laws

having a child out of wedlock (by an admittedly scumbag of a guy) and then preaching abstinence. But it is a good message. Teenagers, the vast majority of the time, can not take care of a baby when they have them that young. More often than not it pushes both the mother and the child into a life of, if not poverty, then way below the standard of living that it should or could be at. Most teenagers don't have parents that are now millionaires to help take care of the child. That's why it's ridiculous to hear someone like Jennifer Aniston go on about how it's perfectly alright to have a child out a father around. Well, if circumstances call for it, a woman has to do what a woman has to do. But statistics and common sense tell us a child is much better off when a man and woman stay together to raise the child. This isn't even debatable. There, of course, are exceptions. If the father dies, the mother is wealthy, there's a large extended family, or even if there is a gay couple that wants to adopt. But to say that it ISN'T ideal for a mother not have a child so young is irresponsible.<p>As far as picking on Bristol Palin, attack her all you want. At this point, she is putting herself in the public eye. However, to keep referring to her a slut, well, as far as anyone here knows, she's only had sex with one guy her whole life. Jokes about her being a slut don't really make sense. Plus, I love the meme about Sarah Palin being an opportunist, or whatever other stupid way alot of you use to attack her. Tell me a politician that you can't call an "opportunist". It's really funny to me to see certain attacks that can be attributed to every politician, but somehow, Palin gets the label from you. By saying that, are you saying that Barack Hoover Obama is NOT an opportunist? Really? That's pretty damn funny...

"Statistics and common sense tell us a child is much better off when a man and woman stay together to raise the child. This isn't even debatable. " <p> I call bullshit on your "statistics", only because I know PLENTY of people that come from single parent households that turned out many times better than those with two parents. There is nothing wrong with what Rachel Green said, but go figure the conservative would side with what the conservative talking heads like Bill O Reilly have been saying.

maxwell's hammer, don't we hear all the time that "context"

    by Coughlins Laws

is important in deciding if someone is racist or insensitive in using a word? This is why Chris Rock can get on stage and say the "N-word" 60 times in his act, but when Dr. Laura points out that Chris Rock says the "N-word" several times, she's the racist. Quentin Tarantino can say it and have the word appear in his movies dozens of times, but he's not a racist. You see, what Rahm Emanuel did was use that word with malice and anger, trying to make people feel inferior by calling them something that he feels should make them inferior. He's saying that anyone who is mentally handicapped, or using his word, a retard, is a sub-human. What Limbaugh did, and does, is point out that most of the MSM does not get upset when a top liberal uses insenstive words. He makes fun of the media. I don't think Emanuel should have lost his job, but he should have been made fun of an ridiculed. When Emanuel says "retard", or Harry Reid talks about Barack Hoover Obama as a "light-skinned" black man who doesn't speak with a "Negro dialect", or when Oliver Stone denies the Holocaust, or pick any liberal who has said something that the professional whiners (i.e.- liberals and Democrats) normally find offensive when a conservative says it, they go silent. Emanuel wasn't hounded out of office. Reid wasn't forced to quit, even though Trent Lott was forced to step down over comments that weren't even close to as offensive. Limbaugh constantly makes fun of the media for letting liberals get away with saying racist or biggotted statements. Look at the whole "Barack the Magic Negro" controversy. A black liberal columnist made up the term. Yet, Limbaugh gets hammered for using the term on his program. So, you tell me. Who's the racist, black people who during the campaign said Barack Obama wasn't "black enough" because he didn't have any "slave blood", or Limbaugh, who points out the ridiculous shit they say?

    by The Founder

WTF kind of BS conservative rhetoric is that? I despise Palin because she is a hypocrital opportunist and helped fan the seeds of racial hate on Obama like lot of the racist right wing does. All of my adult life ive seen the republican launch racial and cultural attacks designed to getbout white voters and divide the country. Its always this group and that group becuase they cant win any other way. Sadly it works for them more often then not. The blacks the hispanic illegals(white illegals are fine by the way) gays, muslims and whoever else they can fakly rally and scare the uninformed white voters. I just dont have respect for a supposed to be goveroring party who resorts to such tactics. Lord knows the Dems arent perfect and god i can write a massive post on them but my views align with the liberal way of thinking and it doesnt make me less american or hateful. Yes I know the vast majority of politicians are opportunistic but Palin is just the grandmother of them all right now. This woman quit as Gov to cash in and then blame the so called mainstream media as the reason for quitting. How pathetic is that. The more I see of Palin the more that Levi guy was right on the money about her.

    by Jayemel

I don't care if you disagree with someone, but to act like what's unreal is real is just obnoxious. The Palin quote about Letterman is as follows: <p> "Acceptance of inappropriate sexual comments about an underage girl, who could be anyone's daughter, contributes to the atrociously high rate of sexual exploitation of minors by older men who use and abuse others." <p> Not once in there does she say the word rape or insinuate it. She's talking about the way the cultural climate affects the decisions people make. Oh, I know, you mean she is talking about statutory rape. Well, then, use that adjective because it's kind of fucking important. There's a HUGE difference between statutory rape and rape. <p> The saddest part is that I don't even think you realize you're playing part of the spin machine. I think you actually fucking believe this nonsense. <p> And for the record, I'm a libertarian, so don't even go down the "angry Republican" route. Teen pregnancies were on a downward path every year starting in the 90's (the decade where conservatives were aghast that we would just *give* teens condoms if they asked for them). The first rise in the teen birth rate since occurred in 2006, following years of the Bush administration's focus on abstinence only programs. "... their free speech as much as the morons burning American flags."<p>However, burning the Koran can also be seen as a form of censorship, one of the very things the 1st Amendment was created to protect against (not to mention the whole freedom of religion clauses). But hey, I guess for them it's easier to use "Free Speech" as a justification for their actions by choosing to ignore everything else that contradicts that justification.

Moral Mental Midgetry of Our Dear Libtards

    by BannthisUcommies

Just stunning! The most grievous sin appears to be hypocrisy. No not raping a child like the genius Polanski or spending every day running the country into a fucking hole while lying about it like the Dear Leader Barry is doing. No shit like that is cool cause the commies that ruin, er think they run this site are cool with the struggle. Nope hypocrisy that's the real evil in this world. God forbid some girl who fucked an obvious retard and learned a very valuable lesson about NOT fucking should want to tell other people to NOT fuck morons. I can see where this would put you lefties in a bind, you'd never get laid again, no matter how metro-sexual you became. This is a post about a crappy show, with crappy "stars" slapped up by the faux-republican Herc. Would anyone give a shit about the post or the show if it didn't have a Palin? 99% of you demonrats wouldn't have posted if she wasn't on the cast. ABC is not stupid. Oh and after the shellacking this fall, get ready for 12. Reservations for Canada anyone? -Thou shalt not steal, even if you have a majority vote in Congress (for now)

For the congregation planning to burn the koran

    by leo54304

I understand they're doing it for 2reasons I believe:<br> <br> 1) Remember 9/11<br> 2) Show the muslim world they dont want them to impose their brand of justice system on us<br> <br> If this group wants to remember 9/11 I think they're more constructive ways to do it. I won't list them as they have been done in the past memorails.<br> As for muslims imposing their justice system on us, where has there been any attempt to do so? Sounds like another one of those things that get started on the web and picks us steam.
