Katie Holmes To Join Adam Sandler's Man/Woman In JACK AND JILL??
Merrick here...
In the film, Jack, a family man, deals with his twin sister, Jill, when she visits for Thanksgiving then won't leave. Sandler will play both characters.
Holmes would play Sandler's wife; Pacino is set to play himself.

The film will be directed by Dennis Dugan, who directed Sandler in YOU DON'T MESS WITH THE ZOHAN, GROWN UPS, HAPPY GILMORE, I NOW PRONOUNCE YOU CHUCK AND LARRY, and probably something else I'm forgetting. As an actor, Dugan appeared in many movies or TV shows that were favorites when I was growing up - some of them guilty pleasures. He was contemporary astronaut displaced into Arthurian times in UNIDENTIFIED FLYING ODDBALL
(aka SPACEMAN IN KING ARTHUR'S COURT) - a picture which still enjoys frequent rotation on cable...

Funny People, tho this premise sounds scarily close to one of the silly movies his character in FP would be in.<p> Punch Drunk Love was another one he pleasantly surprised me in.<p> But despite Little Nicky...and Mr. Deeds...and Click...and Grown Ups...and now this sure-to-be turd the man STILL made Happy Gilmore. And for that I will be eternally grateful.
