Katie Holmes To Join Adam Sandler's Man/Woman In JACK AND JILL??

Katie Holmes is looking to join the cast of JACK AND JILL, a film that'll see Adam Sandler as both the male lead and playing his own twin sister.

In the film, Jack, a family man, deals with his twin sister, Jill, when she visits for Thanksgiving then won't leave. Sandler will play both characters. Holmes would play Sandler's wife; Pacino is set to play himself.

...says THR HERE/ The film will be directed by Dennis Dugan, who directed Sandler in YOU DON'T MESS WITH THE ZOHAN, GROWN UPS, HAPPY GILMORE, I NOW PRONOUNCE YOU CHUCK AND LARRY, and probably something else I'm forgetting. As an actor, Dugan appeared in many movies or TV shows that were favorites when I was growing up - some of them guilty pleasures. He was contemporary astronaut displaced into Arthurian times in UNIDENTIFIED FLYING ODDBALL (aka SPACEMAN IN KING ARTHUR'S COURT) - a picture which still enjoys frequent rotation on cable... ...he appeared in Joe Dante's THE HOWLING, NBC's SUPERTRAIN, M*A*S*H, and was awesome as 'Captain Freedom' on HILL STREET BLUES. Just to name a few... JACK AND JILL is being targeted for a 2011 release.
