Hey all, Ambush Bug here with another clickable delight from the wide and wild world of webcomics. This week we look at Kurt Franklin and Chris Haley’s LET’S BE FRIENDS AGAIN webstrip, a clever strip featuring some of the most famous comic book characters and viewing them in a most humorous light. The web series is updated bi-weekly and there’s already about a year’s worth of strips to keep you occupied today.

I clicked through quite a few and had more than a chuckle or two at the intelligent humor laughing at a medium which we often take too seriously anyway. Have some fun and check out this webseries. It’s free, so there’s no harm in giving it a chance!

what a bunch of generic shit

    by alienindisguise

and Erik Larsen still sucks balls and can't draw worth a damn. It's lame how Image will release run of the mill trash but not anything resembling real creativity and good art.

Muppet Snow White is the low point in that series

    by feralangel

I was my local comic shop the other day helping the clerk stock (she's a GOOD friend, and I like to help out while I visit there), and while talking to her about Chew and Darkwing Duck I happened to see that Snow White puppet farce. Oh my god the turdfucked art. The brain dead story. I'm aware of "Spamela Hamderson" (hey, bet that was a really funny name about a decade ago, oh maybe not since the show she was on was cancelled) but why is a nothing character like her Snow White instead of Miss Piggy? And why is Miss Piggy getting trashed by the writer? Damn it was bad. More evidence why the Muppet sale was a reallllllly bad move by Disney. My friend told me the comic sells lousy, but then all the Boom/Disney titles don't sell well except that Darkwing Duck is getting some attention. Still, she said that Sonic the Hedgehog sells better than ANY Boom title so that tells you something. Oh, and I agree with alien that Eric Larsen sucks balls. He hit bottom with that Obama cover. Bet he's sorry now heheheheheh...

You should definitely read Invincible! Unless you really don't like Superheroes. It's a great ongoing story filled with many awesome characters. Once you start reading you will be hooked!

I was told to get through the first trade and then get ready for the slight tone shift that really kicks the series off. I'm on vol 4 now and have enjoyed it quite a bit.
