Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. The Wrap expanded on our initial scoop here about Ben Affleck appearing in Terrence Malick's Tree of Life follow-up, an untitled romantic drama to film in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. While The Wrap seems to, for some reason, take credit for scooping the Affleck casting even though their story was published well after ours, they did get a nice little bit they can clearly call their own: Rachel Weisz looks to be onboard the film as well. They also figure Affleck is replacing Christian Bale. Don't know if that's an assumption on their part or if they have that confirmed. Bickering about credit aside, it's exciting news that Malick's got the bug and is essentially doing two back to back features.
