A Fantastic Fest / AICN Special Super Spectacular Screening of SCOTT PILGRIM VS. THE WORLD with secrets aplenty!

Hey folks, Harry here - I'm getting ready to head down to the Alamo Drafthouse-Ritz to check out CINEMAPOCALYPSE - but before I do that... Well, I had to post up the details on one of the hands down most exciting screenings that I've ever been a part of. First off - I'm just fucking dying to see SCOTT PILGRIM VS. THE WORLD. Everyone I know that has seen it, has fallen head over heels for it. But this next Thursday night at 7:30pm an event will kick off that won't end till - well... it ends. And I hate... HATE that I can't quite give you all the details, but I will say, if you get in, you might want to make FRIDAY a "sick day" because... again... I just can't say quite yet. All will be revealed at the actual screening. Edgar Wright will be there... but so will select cast... (I know who they are, I'm just not allowed to share, but going through a box of Tissues crying could be a reasonable reaction to not being there) I'm just saying. There will be post film activities. And they will be the shit of Legend. Every facet of this screening is going to be amazing - and ya know how much it is gonna cost you to get in? NOT A SINGLE PENNY! That's Wright, (sorry) no $300 VIP badges - this is the sort of event that Tim League and I love to be able to put together for ya and I know we haven't been doing a ton of events this Summer, but frankly... when we do these things, the events grow out of our passion for the films - and I do feel we've done that this summer (though it is a shame we didn't have an INCEPTION event). How do you get in? I'll tell ya. I have only 115 seats to fill. 85 of you FANTASTIC FESTers can attempt to get seats through FANTASTIC FEST, but AICN is responsible for the majority of seats at this point - so let's get to it. Don't have a Guitar? Air Guitars are allowed, but more so - funny GUITAR SUBSTITUTES like a broom, pink flamingo, mop, strap-on, whatever you want. But I need to see an intensity of passion upon your face, YOU ARE ROCKING OUT! This is it, you do want to ROCK out in what could very well be the coolest event we've had in Austin this year? Right? Ok - emote, I need to see that fire you have inside. By all means have fun with these photos and if you're geeky enough to go Photoshop on us - that's cool too, but not required. There are no points for sending this off QUICKLY. I will announce the winners on AICN this Monday.
