on it must be the pauly senior show.... and anyway discovery have axed american chopper. when he fired his kids it was all over. i think jnr sued the old man and discovery ased the show.

or what?<br /><br />Don't know if people are still watching it, but it now looks like the town (and maybe everything we've seen that presented itself as "reality") may in fact be some sort of pseudo-reality, ala the Matrix or something.<br /><br />Oh, and they also appeared to bring spirits and after life into it.<br /><br />Surely this is a bad move for a show? You can't just present what looks like a modern kidnapping style thriller and BAMMO introduce fantasy or sci-fi elements in the eighth episode. Might as well make one of the abductees a fucking werewolf or something at this point.<br /><br />At least LOST introduced you into the sci-fi elements gradually, and you knew going in that there was something weird about the island/monster/ etc...

It certainly did take a left turn last episode. I too was left wondering if the town, or the entire world, was a Matrix-like construct. Being told "no one ever leaves The Program" takes on a whole new meaning. However, it does explain why the abductees, on driving away, found themselves re-entering town after seeing the bright light.<p>On the other hand, it may just be a red herring, that what we've seen in the white room is all in his head. He's being brainwashed or reprogrammed, or whatever, and what we're seeing is how his mind perceives that experience.<p>I did find it funny a couple of episodes ago when Joe was showing Janet all the hidden cameras in her room. She came across as pissed off about the cameras and that they'd been watching her the whole time. Found the way she was reacting to it odd as, since the beginning, there's been a very obvious camera in her ceiling, one that was quickly replaced soon after she had destroyed it.

First episode was great! Second episode was... ok. I mean I'm still hooked but it didn't move forward enough for my taste. Overall, that list above has 2, maybe 3 shows, I'm intersted in. Kind of sad.

I hadn't thought of it that way. What little privacy she thought she had she discovers was just an illusion. Plus, I guess, some of her sudden indignation was probably knowing that he is one those that have been watching her. Basically, she's taking it out on him.
