Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with another mini-update.
Tonight I'm working on in-depth articles covering both the Thor and Captain America stuff on the Marvel panel. Before I jump into that, though, I wanted to give you folks a heads up on a pic from the Convention floor.
In the Thor footage shown at the Con we got a brief, behind his back glimpse of Thor's mighty helmet... also, I believe we see Anthony Hopkins take his helmet off as part of his punishment and banishment from Asgard.
So, rest assured purists... Thor's costume is complete! Marvel.com has the pic, check it below!

to sell me on Norse gods (or a god of ANY mythology) in this film. I can buy into the idea of Tony Stark being good with tech and making the Iron Man suit because we have technology, some of which is crazy wicked and only getting better and better. I can buy into mutations or super serums making people powerful or telekinetic and whatnot...even controlling the weather, as dumb as that is...but it's a tough sell getting me to buy into Thor. I have some faith though (a pun!) because of the Iron Man films and the latest Hulk movie that Marvel isn't gonna release garbage anymore, but if people don't get into this then The Avengers is toast. A big gamble if you ask me. I was hoping that The Avengers would just be Cap, Iron Man, Hulk, and Hawkeye or somebody. Thor is tricky to get right.The casting is well done and the visuals so far look spot on so we'll see.

Wtf happened to this site?? i mean, this is almost worst than a blog, this pictures have like 3 days on the web and not only do you put them after everyone else but you choose to put only one, the worst. I know you too are geeks that are enjoying the show, but a little more respect for the readers that can't and probably never will get to go to something like that, you can't ever get to see the details of the helmets, like in other photos...

That Punisher is now back in marvels hands for future R-rated Marvel flicks and crossovers? Why no mention of the Wolverine cameo in Captain America? (property is still Fox's unfortunately, but this spells big things for the future, such as potential cross-studio deals for the future of fox-run marvel properies perhaps?) This shit was in the panel, just report it already!

If you check out a few other movie news sites you'll start to realise that not only does AICN completely miss some major movie scoops, but in fact they actively boycott certain productions. For instance, look at io9 right now and notice the glaring new movie articles that are completely unreported over here.

I will probably get pasted on the TB for this, but I truly believe that AICN is too far up its own rse to give a fuck what its readers think or feel. I do look at other sites and have noticed just how painfully slow this site is to get news out ahead of the competition. At some stage they do scoop the rest of the planet, but less and less nowerdays. What a fucking shame. Too busy droning on about kick backs and new I pads and Harrys new inflatable 200mph wheelchair.

Kai_Mah'gra had you beat to the punch a day or two ago on this, and those were better photos! This site is trailing during the biggest geek event of the year. I know there are only a few regular contributing writers, and a shitload of work, but your competition has progressively been getting the better of you. This article is instantly irrelevant. Maybe it means less sleep, but you guys should be posting your asses off! I don't mean to sound like an asshole, but AICN simply is not living up to its reputation anymore. This used to be THE place to go to get the early scoop on all things geeky. But as it stands now, I may as well go back to reading EW. A change of format, or at least a willingness to try some new ideas, could do this site a world of good. Maybe talk to Harry about hiring some extra correspondents next year just for SDCC. You guys need to be on top of the information, or the entire purpose and appeal of this site will evaporate before your very eyes.
