Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. We'll have an in-depth look at the big Comic-Con panel that featured many minutes of footage and appearances by Jon Favreau, Olivia Wilde, Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford (to much audience insanity) in the very near future.

Hardly anyone is talking about it. Seemingly nobody cares about this film. I'd say this and the Pirates 4 teaser are the biggest failures at CC this year. Obviously Scott Pilgrim was the big winner.

...did a "Cowboys In Space" episode. And it sucked, too. I don't know why cocaine seems to make Hollywood types think blending westerns and sci-fi is ever a good idea, but apparently it does. Why not give it a rest and blend two entirely different genres instead? I dunno, rom-coms and slasher porn, maybe. But no, it's the cocaine talking.

Only passable steampunk fiction was The Different Engine and William Gibson and Bruce Sterling seemed like they got bored with it halfway through and never really finished the book, even though it was published, albeit with a lot of filler material. Also, all those obese, vintage clothes + goggles-wearing idiots are beyond pathetic.

This movie will not get one red cent from me. Maybe the success of IM went to Favs' head. Maybe it was a stroke of luck. But this guy nuked the fridge, so to speak, hard.

Would be perfect as a globe trotting adventurer in the 30s, battling nazis, solving ancient mysteries, exotic locales. Not being an american archaelogist of course but just an adventurer following the concept of Laura Craft. Laugh if you want but for a pulp style hero, Craig fits the role perfectly.

That Daniel Craig's sneer is the only thing preventing our universe from imploding into a massive black hole.
This would explain that no matter what character he happens to play, that irritating sneer is aways there.
Just once, I would like to see him in a movie where he manages to avoid the death rictus that always seems to have him by the face.

I'm as big a Ford fanboy as anyone, but I can honestly say I haven't liked a single film of his since The Fugitive.

It doesn't quite work in the antagonistic / vs sense, but it was mainly to hide my slightly more potentially offensive one under the title:-). -
Any movie she's in with Craig is bad (See: golden compass and the invasion). His other ones are pretty good. Especially like Layer Cake, that was a different role for him.
