David Cross Joins Will Arnett and ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT Creator Mitch Hurwitz For New Fox Sitcom RUNNING WILDE!!

David Cross ("Year One," "Alvin and the Chipmunks") will reteam with “Arrested Development” creator Mitch Hurwitz and former “Arrested Development” player Will Arnett for their new Fox sitcom “Running Wilde.”
Cross replaces Andrew Daly (“Eastbound and Down”) as the radical environmentalist whom I will expect will compete against the rich, callow Arnett character for the heart of the Keri Russell character.
“Wilde” launches on Fox Sept. 20, where it will compete with established blockbusters "The Biggest Loser," "Dancing With The Stars" and "NCIS Los Angeles."

David Cross is awesome and all, but Daly and Arnett have good chemistry (they were one of the best parts of SEMI-PRO in my opinion). Daly is a really underrated comedic performer, and needs to work more.

Sit Down, Shut Up started off crappy but it got much better later on. There were a lot of callbacks to AD and other AD type jokes.

That rumor comes from The Sun, same paper that said last August Megan Fox had been cast as Nolan's Catwoman. (Fox called bullshit.) And said in January that Tobey Magurie had been cast as Bilbo in THE HOBBIT. (Peter Jackson called bullshit). Kindly ignore The Sun.

said so last week. But they kicked it to the back-burner to get this show off the ground. My expectations are... tempered. I saw about 10 whole minutes of Sit Down, Shut Up and was really kind of angry that the people who made Arrested Development made that. But I love Kerri Russell. And I don't mean that in a flip way, I mean I actually do, deeply, truly, madly love her. So I'll watch this. For a little while.

David cross is easily one of the best stand ups today, and he is referred to as the guy from Alvin and the Chipmunks and Year One. I understand you gotta do what you gotta do, but fuck Hercules, give him a little love.

A modern classic. I'm sort of glad it got cancelled though. No one wants to see quality slip, and that show was just pure quality for three strong seasons. Anyone who thinks differently is clearly committing light treason.

David Cross originally had the part, but couldn't make it to filming because of the volcano in Europe. Andrew Daly filled in. Daly is on "The Paul Riser Show" which also got picked up, so he can't be on Wilde anyway.

Fox will still cancel it in 7 weeks. And maybe for good measure they'll put its worst foot forward by throwing a million notes at the first few episodes, ensuring they're less watchable than the rest of the series. Sit Down Shut Up was fairly entertaining, its first few eps were definitely not that good, but the style of humor grew quickly. Naturally Fox moved it to Saturdays at 12am to live out its run.

honestly, i know hes supposed to be part of the 'brilliant' mr.show but I've only seen him in alot of shitty movies being anything but funny. arrested development sucks btw. any show that relies on sarcastic narration is trying too hard. The only show that did the narration thing well was the wonder years.. and the dukes of hazzard.
