All I have read, show isn't cancelled, and not a half season. Amy Poehler was pregnant, and had no plans for her to be on the show, so they filmed the first half of the season, directly after they wrapped season 2, and will begin filming more when shes pushed the baby out. I think this is simply to schedule change around her kid. EFF outsourced though. And man....why am I the source of knowledge on this stuff, why arent we reporting this stuff on here? AICN...wanna hire someone?

AICN reported in January that Parks was getting a third season. We reported in May that Parks was going to midseason. So you are "the only source of knowledge on this stuff" months after everybody else already reported it.

    NBC really sucks...

    by jimmy rabbitte

...but Fringe is the only show, on any of the network schedules that I'll watch regularly. I actually watch two shows regularly, if you count football; but that ends, in December. TV is just about dead to me. Maybe Boardwalk Empire will be worth watching.

why the fuck are all the good shows only on thursday?

    by thebaxter

now that lost and 24 are gone, the only network shows i watch are community, office, fringe, and BBT... and they're all on the same fucking night! idiots! at least there aren't 3 on at the same time, so i can still DVR them, but i'm sure it will only be a matter of time til they manage to figure out how to put every single show i watch on at the exact same time and screw me for good.

    Survivor move

    by himbo

So was the Survivor move to Wednesday just to make room for Big Bang? Survivor made better counter-programming to NBC Thursday sitcoms; and Survivor d/n make a stronger lead-in for the Wednesday procedurals than it would for the Thursday procedurals. Herc, thanks for the explanation about Thursday movie commercials.

That is literally it for what I watch anymore on TV after losing Terminator, Dollhouse, Heroes, 24, Lost. I guess I'll FINALLY start watching Battlestar Galatica this fall. And maybe jump into Walking Dead. After that, probably start Breaking Bad. Maybe Mad Men. But BSG is finally gettin STARTED!

    by xcornealiousx

I was being somewhat sarcastic, but I suppose I understand the pretty good burn back. Hahahaha. I still love you guys and hit the site numerous times a day. I suppose I should have made a sarcastic remark to the people who were questioning the news. To be honest, either I read that Parks and Rec news here, or Michael Ausiello. Although I swear you guys didn't mention the mid-season replacement part being on the fact of Amy's pregnancy. People are freaking out over it being a mid-season replacement, like this is bad news for the show.

    by badmrwonka

about the fall lineup, Herc wrote, 'Conspicuous is the absence of “Parks of Recreation,” one of the network’s earliest renewals.'2 or 3 talkbackers speculated that Poehler's pregnancy was the reason, but no one ever confirmed it.
I certainly didn't know it was because of Poehler's pregnancy, and I don't go to any other sites except AICN.

Basically at the end God did everything. It's absolutely shit. The cylons are boomer, xena warrior princess, al from quantum leap, eyepatch dude, blond woman, starbuck's boyfriend who plays space basketball, and the main mechanic dude with the perm job. I think that's all of them. Eyepatch dude's cock hungry wife is one too possibly but I can't remember. Starbuck turns out to be an angel or some shit. One guy gets really fat. The president doesn't die until the very last episode. The whole thing is a huge waste of time. All the questions are answered by magic. I suppose people who believe in God would like it, but they're all severely mentally ill so that's not saying much.

I would advise watching the mini-series and the episode "33" and then dumping the series. Then you can start watching Mad Men, a show where character actions derive from their personality.
Even if you persist in watching BSG, I strongly advise you to dump it the INSTANT the "final five" nonsense starts.

    by big jim

This thunderstorm is not the EVENT. That block of cheese is not the EVENT. Yesterday's bowel movement, while being a rather smelly event, is not the EVENT. The backwards E is not the EVENT, even though that's how we spell the EVENT.
