While I wasn't exactly blown away by last week's eps, it seems like the show is slowly returning to its pre-cancellation form...

I felt the second episode was stronger than the first, but more Futurama is wonderful! Thankyou Comedy Central!

I just saw a commercial on The Comedy Network stating that the whole new Futurama will be showing tomorrow (Thursday, July 1st) at 10pm. To which, I say YAY!!!

me laugh. Those Mantees write well and remind me of the time.. I still watched the Simpsons, which is not AS bad now as some people say. But this season of Futurama is outstanding so far.

It was Jared this week and CSI Miami last week. Sure they can have some 30th century incarnations. But the series didn't do that before like this.

This is exactly what Futurama was made to do, skewering technology and being clever and funny as hell. I also thought the CURRENT pop-culture references were out of place too, especially the CSI: Miami one last week, but I can look past it as it made me laugh. That being said, the joke probably would have had the same impact if they said something like CSI: Jupiter, or CSI: New Miami.

The Infosquito in general, and him looking up from the brain to say "I like it!" are PURE vintage Futurama. Was also a little surprised to see Flexo used as a throwaway joke, rather than a full plotline. Anyone else?
