* “America’s Got Talent” (now Hassel-free!), “Wipeout” and “Hell’s Kitchen” are all pulling ratings NBC, ABC and Fox would be excited to see during the regular season.
* The tragic episode of “Deadliest Catch” featuring a deadly stroke attracted its biggest audience of the season.
* The premiere of “Downfall,” which features new cars being dropped off a 10-story building, did respectably against the unlikely summer powerhouse that is “Talent.”
* NBC’s “Biggest Loser” spin-off “Losing It With Jillian,” is losing viewers at loserly clip.
* Despite backing from former NBC stars Jason Lee and George Clooney, TNT’s “Memphis Beat” did not launch as strongly as FX’s much better Tuesday hillbilly lawman show “Justified.”
* MTV’s “The Hills,” which has been cancelled, has gone from 1.6s to 1.1s in a few short weeks. Word is “Hills” spin-off “The City,” which is also down, will be cancelled soon as well. The much more popular “Jersey Shore” is MTV’s master now.
* As perhaps the sole straight fellow who finds “Kathy Griffin: My Life On The D-List” really funny, it saddens me to report the Emmy-magnet Bravo vet is Tuesday’s lowest-rated first-run show.

I couldn't even make through the entire episode. While Whipe is still the greatest game show since Double Dare, all the additions make it not as fun for some reason. Like a lot of the stuff now just look utterly immpossible to complete and you sort of feel bad for the contestants rather then just laughing at them as they have a fun time. Now they look completely spent. I think it is mainly the paint spray just seems a little much and just isn't fun, also all the throwing shit. It's moves past fun and playful to painful sometimes. Though at the same time at least you feel like they fucking earned their $50,000 at the end.

With watching D-List. It has more to do with your ability to withstand painfully unfunny and annoying people. But god bless you because if you didn't give those attention whores the time of day I may have to deal with them.

I recorded it and went to watch it this morning but found myself watching Last Comic Standing.As for ratings, not doing that well. According to Herc's story near the bottom of the Coaxial Column, it started at 1.4, then 1.2, last week 1.0. My recording what was listed as Persons Unknown but NBC airing LCS in that spot has me a bit concerned about its being around until its end.

Yea for whatever reason they moved it to 8 pm instead of ten. I was lucky I checked my dvr yesterday. Looks like next week is on at 8 also. New permanent timeslot maybe? I'm hoping they finish it out at least. Last night was decent, not as good as the last two, IMO, but interesting. Much more character heavy, plus a cool moment here and there, with a half-decent reveal/cliffhanger at thr end. Hopefully you can watch it online somewhere. If you do, come back and well discuss.

Replace "Downfall" with a comedy show staring Bruno Ganz about an unfrozen Hitler in the 21st century ranting about mundane shit in German with subtitles.

I don't think any Canadian stations air so I may have a hard time finding it (legally) online. NBC.com episodes and Hulu are not available to us up here.

Well, Look around for awhile, and if you can't find it, come back here and I'll tell you everything that happened as best I can for next week if you want. I consider myself still interested, so if you want a Iits no sweat for me. (there are also probably reviews Somewhere online, though gods know what sites are actually covering it) anyways, good luck finding it. I don't know what iTunes is like up in Canada, if it's any different, but they are also on there for two bucks rach. Probably not entirely worth it for one viewing, but for just one episode it's not so bad. I'll keep checking back

Which kind of pisses me off, but I like Deadliest Catch and Hell's Kitchen so much that I'll get over it. And Wipeout just makes me laugh like a fool, something that happens rarely with TV.
