I am – Hercules!! Nice to see Syfy finally taking science fiction seriously again! 1980s popsters Tiffany and Deb Gibson will do battle in “Mega Python Vs. Gateroid,” a TV movie due on the channel sometime next year. The middle-aged former teen icons will not play the title roles but rather an animal-rights activist who champions the supersnake and a park ranger who’s in the corner of the monstrous alligator. Mary Lambert (“Pet Sematary”) directs from a teleplay by Naomi Selfman (“Evil Eyes”). If this is based on a work by Arthur C. Clarke or Isaac Asimov, I can locate no evidence.
