Joel Silver Takes On A Revisionist DON QUIXOTE That's Not Gilliam's DON QUIXOTE!!

Joel Silver & Co. are evidently setting out to reinvent Cervantes with a new DON QUIXOTE project. It should be noted that this picture has nothing to do with Terry Gilliam's roundly challenged THE MAN WHO KILLED DON QUIXOTE. It's also unclear what (if any) effect the arrival of another DON QUIXOTE film would have on Gilliam's endlessly in development movie.

this will be to Cervantes what Robert Downey’s Sherlock Holmes was to Arthur Conan Doyle. [EDIT] It’s being described as a Pirates of Caribbean-style swashbuckling version of a story in which we discover that Don Quixote isn’t crazy and that there is, in fact, a fantasy world.
