Titan Books & AICN Want To Give You A Copy of FIREFLY: STILL FLYING!!

We have three (3) copies of Titan's FIREFLY: STILL FLYING.
This book is interesting in that it's something of a combo title - it's partly a "Making of..." book (storyboards, prop pics, designs, behind the scenes photos, amassed interviews with various cast & talent from the show), but it also offers four original FIREFLY stories from people involved in the series' making (writers and/or producers). "Fun With Dick And Jayne" - a short and disgusting comic written and drawn by writer/producer Ben Edlund, "What Holds Us Down" by Jane Espenson, "Crystal" by Brett Matthews, and "Take the Sky" by Jose Molina. 159 pages of FIREFLYness both old and new, well=presented for your consideration.
So, what do you gotta do to get this? It's simple - but please follow the rules precisely. In the past, we've had folks unnecessarily disqualified for deviating from the rules laid out below.
** Sometime between the time you read this and 12:01 PM CST USA (noon +1) on Tuesday May 25, 2010 send an e-mail to me via the link below. You can enter twice a day for the contest's duration.
** Include your name and mailing address in this e-mail. The address is to expedite prize shipment only and will be summarily discarded once book recipients are chosen. No spam, no mailing lists, etc.
** CONTEST IS OPEN TO INTERNATIONAL READERS!!!
** Be sure to send from an ACTIVE (and frequently checked) E-MAIL ACCOUNT. If I try to reach you & my message bounces back? I'll trash your win and move on to the next closest winning contestant I can reach. Not trying to be a jerk, but I've no time to chase folks down.
** I've already pre-selected ONE time of day between today, on three particular days, between now (Thursday) and Tuesday May 25th. The person who e-mails me at (or closest to) this time will receive a copy of the book. NOTE: I've been asked this before, so...for clarity...I'm using whatever time is stamped on the Yahoo mailing address established for this contest as the determiner. I'm in Central Time USA, so I guess that's a CST time stamp (?).
** The three recipients will be announced by the end of next week.
** Titan will have your addresses in hand Wednesday morning (the 26th) & they've been kind enough to handle fulfillment in this contest. Books should be shipped next week.
** As a general FYI, you should know that...due to the number and frequency of entries...recipients in past contests were sometimes selected by matters of seconds. Literally.

I've been doing a re-watch of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Whedon wrote and directed a shit load of the episodes on that show. Not a damn thing wrong with any of them so far. Not at all sure why people think he can't direct.

Nor does writing a comic book necessarily translate to writing a movie. JJ Abrahms has succeeded in the former. Whedon has failed on both so far. -
...going to be launched years ago, and the stories were great, I mean really spectacular stuff, including the story about a female special ops trained warrior who takes Serenity and her crew hostage with bombs--but with a clever twist to her scheme--however, and sadly so, Whedon pulled the plug on it, over ego reasons? Hopefully, he will change his mind now, and allow those stories to be officially authored and released.

Except that I don't actually agree with you because I love Serenity, don't love Abram's Star Trek. Also not sure I understand your writing point as I've loved pretty much everything Whedon has written/created. A lot of which he has also directed. I'm not one of those spastic fans from either of their camps, though. So this is just a peaceful disagreement. I just thought I'd comment on the Buffy directing because so many people had negative things to say about that when it was announced he was attached to The Avengers. I don't see anything wrong with his outings as a director on Buffy so far. But I'm only to the beginning of season four on the re-watch right now and it seems a lot of people have a problem with his work on season seven. *shrug*
