that Repo! is turning into the cult hit it so desperately wanted to be. Cult hits aren't supposed to be striving for cult status, it's supposed to happen naturally (not pander to a certain crowd). But this sounds promising and the presence of Deborah Ann Woll guarantees I see it.
May 18, 2010, 4:39 p.m. CST
I will keep my eyes peeled for this. I liked the original film, and I liked Repo.

Is nothing sacred than mothers? Come on Hollywood & Filmmakers everywhere!!! Let's make AFRICAN HISTORY MONTH with a plot where its just black people killing non-stop!! Ew, I guess I'm just racist!!

After reading this I really want to see it. It sounds like it'll be like Last House on the Left and the Hostels where I'll only be able to stomach this movie once; the sign of good horror.

but why not spruce things up with a few pictures? Hell, it seems like each news story get three Youtube videos per post.

Astron-6's upcoming film Father's Day promises X rated levels of gore and nudity! Sure it doesn't have Demourney but I promise it will be better than SAW 2. http://www.astron-6.com/

I hope no one fucks with the cut and they leave it as is. It's rare in this day and age that we get a good horror drama.

It does sound like a Jack Ketchum story. One of the true masters of the genre.
May 18, 2010, 7:02 p.m. CST
I've been looking forward to this one. However, some of the retards in this talk back are clearly not the audience for this film. What are you talking about, dickheads? You want Hobbit news? This is produced by Brett Ratner. What else do you want? Now go home and suck yer momma's titty.

Don't you have to have listenable music for an opera. None of the songs had anything resembling an interesting melody. Oh and the Saw films are awful. Maybe this will be better,
May 18, 2010, 10:55 p.m. CST
But every Saw from 3 on sucked balls and he may be the culprit. This sounds awesome though so I'll take Capone on his word and check it out. As long as it's not a watered down studio version.

A serial killer has to relive the same days over and over and spends his time raping and pillaging only to never learn any sort of lesson as he spends an eternity doing what he loves most.
May 19, 2010, 2:51 a.m. CST
Hey Capone, ever been to see the local Repo! shadowcast? It's pretty damn awesome to be in the middle of about 300 fans at the Music Box singing along/shouting back.
May 19, 2010, 2:52 a.m. CST
Least melodic lyric ever. Fuck, Repo! sucked. Repossessing organs isn't "legalized murder" any more than repossessing my car is "legalized theft", and you're gonna try and make a shitty rock opera off the premise? Bousman owes me 3 Evil Dead 2s and a Dream Warriors before I consider dipping my eyes in that brand of diarrhea again

He rewrote a script called "Wichita," which was based on a true home invasion story. The script was horrific.

May 19, 2010, 8:25 a.m. CST
Seriously. Internet memes don't work when people are TRYING to make them. As for the film, I might check this out.

...it's the kind of thing I almost always like. But the music was just so awful. <p> So awful. It was so awful that it made me cry. And then my eyes turned very red. I looked everywhere for my visine. But all I found was a powdered doughnut. The powder only made me sneeze. And now look at my eyes. Look at my eyes. <p> Yeah the lyrics were a real problem too. Liked the look, though. Really wish I could have liked it more.
May 19, 2010, 10:09 a.m. CST
I remember hearing that this film was happening in a landslide of remake news and then nothing. Glad it turned out better than anyone could have hoped. Horror is in a pretty dull place these days -- which is retarded, given all the social anxiety we should be purging.

A remake of a Troma turd (generic "psycho" shit") that was a bust when it originally debuted? Don't look for a distributor; look for it on the dusty bottom shelf of a Wyoming mom 'n' pop store. I appreciate AICN's coverage of low-budget conceits; but home movies? Jesus, how about a Don Dohler film festival??
May 19, 2010, 8:25 p.m. CST
Saw II was pretty good.
