Hey folks... Now first off I want to assure you that I know who sent this scoop in. I believe it, just as I did back in 1997 when he was originally attached. So... for the moment, the time being if you will... this is the truth. Of course Lucas can always change his mind. He does that often, but I think that would be a shame. I think Hines is an immensely talented underused actor and hopefully this will light a fire under a lot of casting agents' asses to get him more work. Here ya go...

We just learned Hines will be in Ep2 and 3!
Gregory actually signed on back in 1997, and was told
he would be in Ep1, but then a few months before they
started shooting that spring (or was it summer?), he
was told he wasn't needed, but he would keep the
money. Well, we were pissed when we saw Ep1 because we
thought Samuel Jackson was playing the part Gregory
was supposed to play, and that they let him go because
they thought Samuel Jackson was cooler, but now, it
appears wrong. Plus, Gregory was told he would be
playing a character named A-90 back then, and Samuel's
character was not called A-90. AND, he was told his
name for the films was still A-90. He doesn't have his
lines yet, but hopefully soon. He was told 15 minutes
of screen time in Ep2, but Gregory said that doesn't mean all 15 will be in the film, AND
he is guarnateed to be in Ep3. You may not believe
this, but we still don't know if Gregory is a good guy
or bad guy. Anyway, we're all REALLY EXCITED because
things have been okay for Gregory, but kinda slow too, hopefully being in a Star Wars films will really give him the boost he needs.
