‘I’m Here Just To Make Your Life Hell!!’ . Thursday BringsDouble-Eviction SURVIVOR!!
SPOILER ALERT !!
I am – Hercules!!
Last week’s episode was nuts, with Amanda snatching the all-important hidden immunity idol clue -- only to have Colby insist she surrender it to Danielle.
What would have happened if Amanda ran into the bathroom and locked the door? Would Danille have kicked it in?
And would that have not eclipsed every other “Survivor” incident in the history of the show?
During a conference call last Friday Amanda allowed that had Colby not been in the room, she “would not have given it back." She would have read it, “ripped that thing to shreds and flushed it.”
Why did she listen to Colby at all? “He made me feel really bad about it,” she explained. “I was really shocked Colby didn’t back me up.” Useless Colby!
(Amanda was also not impressed with the movie Colby was so anxious to return to. “Let me tell you, the movie was bad. Not even OK. The movie was awful,” she groused. “I could understand it if were ‘Avatar’ or ‘Braveheart’ or something like … But come on, ‘Treasure Island!’? Seriously?”)
I often wonder how “Survivor” law works. Was the clue in the popcorn really Danielle’s or did it belong to the three of them? Moreover, if you steal an actual idol from a fellow contestant’s pants or a hiding place, is it yours now?
Would Amanda have liked to see her boyfriend, legendary "Survivor" challenge demon Ozzy Lusth, there that season? “Not particularly. We kind of broke up.”
She always said she’s done with “Survivor” for good. “I’m officially retired.”
“The villains are not one big happy family,” Jeff Probst proclaimed as Amanda hustled her blurry behind to the jury house.
At last week’s tribal Russell, for the second week in a row, looked out of the loop, defensive, weak and subordinate to Parvati. He squandered a hidden immunity idol, somehow convinced that at least five of his nine tribemates voted for him.
None of them did.
CBS says of tonight’s installment, which will add two more contestants to the jury:
Sensing that he is in danger, a hero makes a bold move to save himself by fooling the entire tribe. Meanwhile, a vicious power struggle emerges in one alliance and two of the strongest villains find themselves pitted against one another.
There are only two male “heroes” left:
HEROES
Rupert Boneham
Colby Donaldson
Candice Woodcock
VILLAINS
Sandra Diaz-Twine
Danielle DiLorenzo
Russell Hantz
Jerri Manthey
Parvati Shallow

Ratings-wise? “Survivor” last week hit its best number since its season premiere and remains Thursday’s biggest show:

What were the circumstances, I wonder.
-
I'm sorry, but if you don't love MUPPET TREASURE ISLAND, you have no soul.
-
highly underated flick.
-
In Fiji two guys looked through Yau Mans stuff and saw he had the idol. They said it was too bad they couldn't take it so it's in the rules
-
that this is the end of the road for Russell. It was entertaining while it lasted. Russell in Ponderosa should make for some excellent Friday viewing though.
Hoping I'm wrong. -
Russell will find it again unless it is buried six feet deep. And then he will smell it out
-
Yes, I watch it faithfully and love it :-)
-
that the line quoted in the headline was spoken by Sandra (probably to Russell)? That seems to be her personality and probably her only reason for existing at all.
-
I think Russell will go, much as I hate to admit. He's playing scared, not smart. Parv wanted to shake his confidence, but I don't know if she expected him to react so badly. It really bruised his ego so he's being twice the dick in half to time. Playing that HII was dumb. Understandable on some level, but dumb. I can't see Parv playing an idol unless she knows it will send a message, save herself or surprise some people. As for the Hero who makes a bid to save himself, I hope it's Colby. Rupert is insufferable. I liked his first season because it was the pirate season and he fit the bill. But with each appearance he gets more self-righteous. He's never really demonstrated a head for strategy, challenges. He's like a shaved bear.
-
"Russell is going home this week" and every week he proves you wrong. Man what does this guy gotta do to earn your respect? He will make it to the final two, mark my words.
-
without the chance of lingering camel toe pics of Amanda. They're going to have to put that camera right up Pavarti's ass to make up for that loss.
-
I even think he is very handsome in a trollish, goaty way - like, if I were crossing his bridge, and he came out to eat my livestock and ask me to pay the toll, I'd hit that.I just see his bruised ego, his recent stumbles and his friction with the other players conspiring to bring him down. But I hope you're right.

Agreed that Amanda gone dis-invests my chubby, but...
by sydbarretsmydad
still love the show and hope Russell goes all the way.
By the way, read the damn story. "Does anyone still watch this shit?".......the ratings are posted right there. Kinda looks like they do, moron.
And if youd looked at the preview for tonights show youd have seen that Russell is the one that says Im here to make your life hell. Not Sandra. -
He's never been in a stronger position. The two guys on the hero tribe are next targets, followed by Sandra and Candice. I think Russell will make it to the final three unless Parvati and Dani decide to blindside him early--but I don't see that happening until a few more go first.
-
After skipping seasons 3-18, I am back and it is awesome.
-
They think they would beat him in the final.
My nightmare final three is Parv, Danielle and Candice. Then I really couldn't give a shit since I always felt there were better choices than Danielle and Candice for this season. -
on Survivor contestants can do anything as long as it isn't illegal in the US. I guess going into someone's bag and taking the idol is akin to stealing. Russell did burn that dude's socks last year, but they were sitting by the fire, they were out in the open. He didn't take them from his bag, he just moved them closer to the fire (the center of the fire). If that is indeed the case, I find it strange that players re-bury the idol in order to hide it. To me, if it's not in your bag, it's not in your possession, and anyone stumbling across it is entitled to it.The clue was in the popcorn for anyone to find. Dumb-as-a-Doorknob Danielle finds the clue, and instead of tucking it into her shorts or top, put it on the floor, where Amanda found it. Danielle had relinquished possession of the clue when she put it down out in the open. Amanda had more right to it as she was physically in possession of it when Colby told her to give it to Danielle.
-
(might have been a finale show) that basically, and I'm only slightly paraphrasing, "the only rules on Survivor are that you can't try to physically harm another player and you can't conspire to share the prize money. Other than that anything goes" But that doesn't seem to be the case. I'm confused. It would be interesting to actually see the rules contract the players sign.
-
for destroying another person's personal property (burning that one contestant's socks). I would suppose that's illegal in the U.S.? I don't get it.
-
They hide it exactly because they don't want other tribe members to find it... not because they're worried about anyone stealing it... People not knowing you have an idol is a huge advantage...
-
no one has tried it yet. There have been a few times were the contestant could have stolen it, but then you would look like a thief to everyone. Remember when yau-man made a deal for the final immunity idol. Yau-man gave up the car and the other guy promised him immunity for giving him the car. But when it came time to pay up, he refused to hand it over. This was practically stealing the idol and Jeff did nothing to stop him. Of course this decision cost him the win because everyone called him a thief and a liar. So therefor, stealing is allowed, but it is probably not the smartest thing to do.
-
One of the greatest moments in Survivor history is Rupert plundering the other team's shoes in Pearl Islands.
-
Shut up.Did you not read the text that makes up this column. Highest rated Thursday show. Hello? Large talkback each week. Really. Just...
Shut up. -
I'm pretty sure not. Like, not stealing ANY of whatever it is they may have with them as personal possessions. Stealing is stealing, it ain't right. Now, if somebody saw Russell re-hiding the idol like he does and came by after he'd left to snatch it up, well, seems like that would be fair game.
-
So what the fuck do I know? I know I love Survivor! WoohoO!
-
idol-property rights in his Entertainment weekly blog that prints after each ep. He wrote there is no such rule for clues.
As for the sock-burning, one of the things that came out in a behind the scenes vid; Sandra mentioned Danielle being pissy that her socks had disappeared. She was afraid someone had burned them and accused Boston Rob. Then Rob gave her socks to shut her up. Sandra kept stealing them back. I laughed thinking Russel might have done it, just like last season. And if so, it drove Danielle away from Rob, and right into Russell's clutches. -
No holds barred, then I would actually consider watching reality TV
-
They're pretty interesting--if only to underscore how much they all (all four members of the jury so far) hate hate hate Russell. They are saying they do not even plan on talking to him if he is voted off and joins them--so for those people on here who said they thought Russell had a chance to get a vote from either JT or Coach, watch the Ponderosa vids and think again.
-
Somebody should have told "Hero" Rupert before he slammed Jerri's head into a post.

Wow, I got deleted for asking a straight-forward question...
by mjohnson
I wasn't even trolling...I just asked a straightforward question if anyone really still watched this show. Real cool. So between censroship and the fucking weak Twitter bullshit this site endorses, my estimation of AICN's relevance has pretty much bottomed out. Nice job, guys.
-
It was asinine troll baiting and acting hurt by the deletion, and calling it censorship, is pathetic.
-
Yeah. We watch it. Anything else?
-
Love those videos. If one thing they have shown is that Russell has 0 chance at winning if he makes it to the final 3. The jury despises him.
-
Since they all hate him so very much, Russell's arrival at the Ponderosa has the potential to be some great television.

Probst explained the rules in his blog. I'll quote it in the bod
by mahaloth
He wrote:
"Amanda has it. Danielle wants it back. So now we have an interesting situation. Who does the note belong to? I am not there to referee or make a decision so this is left to them to figure out. Does it belong to Danielle because she found it? Does it belong to Amanda because she found it after Danielle dropped it on the floor? Should they have to share it? Or does it go to the winner of The cat fight? Of course I would opt for the last scenario – let them fight it out and the winner gets it, cause let’s be honest, that would be fun to watch.
INSIGHT: From a rules point of view, there is no rule that covers something this unique. Neither Danielle nor Amanda had a clear-cut case of possession, so it was up in the air.
My call would have been to have them “work it out” which probably would have resulted in all three of them sharing it together. That’s definitely what I would have said if I had been Amanda or Colby, “Let’s work it out together.” I would never have let Danielle walk away with it by herself. Never." -
....and I assumed the Russell/Rupert thing was a confessional at first.
-
...DAMMIT Sandra found it. Bye bye Russell. :(
-
BEST EPISODE EVER.
-
YOU DON'T SEND US TO A BREAK BEFORE THE REVEAL!
-
...Heather Brooke. Can't wait to see Amanda give her the cold shoulder at the Ponderosa.
-
Another week of Russell.
-
he flew threw that challange
-
Who has she lied to or backstabbed on the jury? God I hope she works her way into the final three.
-
THERE'S NO CRYING IN SURVIVOR!
-
pulled the greatest swindle ever
-
...Jerri just started the backstabbing.
-
There's no way in hell Russell can win the money. None. No one on that jury is going to vote for him.
-
He's courting the Heroes next week? Really?
-
Anyone who denies Russell's skills in this game are again put on the defensive. He may have made a mistake in trying to play Parv and Danielle against each other, but he spun it perfectly by making Jerri think that there was no way she was going to the finals with Danielle in the game since Danielle mentioned ONLY herself, Parvati and Russell in the alliance. HUGE gaffe! She left out Jerri!
And once again, Russell gets someone to basically vote themself out. Unreal. -
For a smart player: you want to be in the last two with Russell because that will give you the best chance to win the money.
-
The illusion of having the idol worked.
-
That is all.
-
Hasn't done anything, didn't fight for the clue last week, he won't pull any votes.
-
Bad-boob-job-o-rama.
-
It would probably be 10-0 in his favor if he went up against Russell.
Colby vs. Rupert would be a toss-up, but either one of them can win against Russel or Parv.
Sandra is probably the most dangerous person right now. She has the idol. I think she wins the vote easy vs. Russell or Parv, probably wins vs. Jerri, and has a really good shot of winning the vote vs. either of the two remaining Heroes based on the jury make-up. -
I refuse to give up on Russell. He is the best player ever. Unfortunatly as I have said in the past, he can not win. Allowing the cast offs to decide the winner is a flawed system. They will never choose Russell as the winner because he out plyed them. this is what happened to Russell last season. They chose that coat tail riding girl over Russell just to prove a point, and the same thing will happen this time. It's a shame really because Russell definatly out witted, outlasted and outplayed everyone last season and it is looking that way again this season.
-
You know the one that allowed us to talk about Supernatural among other things?
-
I was saying, whoever that wants to win easy needs to try to get Russell and Colby in there, but yeah, you're right, Parv couldn't beat Colby either.
-
And what vin_diggler says is right: having the castaways vote to decide the winner does seem a bit peculiar given the nature of the game where one would think the last person standing should be the winner--it's a weird some of karmic turnaround having the people you had to contrive to kick-off decide who the ultimate winner should be.
But then, it's as much a part of the game as any other facet of it--so who's to say Russell actually is the "best" player if his methods and approach fail to take this ultimately all-important aspect of the game into account?
Russell is very good at the short-game strategy, but he fails miserable in the long-game aspect of Survivor. I think his plan the entire time was to hack and slash his way down to the final two with Parv, making them both equally loathsome, then turning around and saying to the jury "Well she already won once. You gonna give her another million dollars?" and then lie his ass off and hope to win some votes. -
Survivor sets up another "America's Tribal Council" like when Rupert won. Russell takes it in the Jury of Public Opinion.
-
He is both the best and worst at Survivor. He does some things that are mind bogglingly good, and others that are so bad it's not believable. Having the whole picture obviously makes it easier to see, but his major problem is his ego. He is good, and he knows it, but he can't leave well enough alone if he feels like he's not 100% in charge. I do think it's laughable that these (mostly) 3 time contestants will not reward who played the game best, but rather who they like more.

Danielle's cleavage looks like Arnold's in his Conan days
by muddymudskipper
-
No one on the jury but Danielle likes her either.
-
Is highly subjective: it's very easy to argue that someone who cannot create and foster even the slightest iota of goodwill and begrudging respect from his other castmates is far from the best player in the game, regardless of how far he make it.
-
but definitely screwed over Russell. I still stand by the belief that Russell doesn't play the entire game properly. He's incredible at lasting in the game and getting rid of people. but his tactics are self destructive.
I don't see how getting rid of Danielle now will work in his favor. But it makes it interesting. -
I'm starting to think you're right. Russell is a bold, flashy player, but not very emotionally intelligent. All the impressive, tactical strategy and huge moves in the world, if it fails to account for the very real part feelings play, doesn't make you the best Survivor. I would love Russell to win the season, but the jury rarely rewards boldness. I don't think Russell can eke out a win over anybody.I think the person who might have played the 'smartest' overall game this season is Jerri. Never stepping on toes, making some important strategic decisions, letting the big personalities clash - even her 'betrayal' of Coach is going to be laid on Russell's doorstep. I also dig that she's completely mellowed out from the hysterical bitchy chick from her first season. It's weird watching this show for so long and seeing contestants again after ten years - like how Colby is kind of lazy and disinterested when before he was an honourable, alpha-male type; an
-
enter key fail
-
Doesn't it seem that way? I can't believe Sandra found the idol. She's horrible at challenges and horrible at finding anything ever. I do respect the fact she admits it and has a sense of humor about it. The Russell/Rupert confrontation was pretty dang epic. I bet everyone at camp shared that heart pounding adrenaline rush you get when you're around something volatile.
-
She has a shot at winning it all. Unlike Colby, she's become a better play this time around.
-
Things I liked: Russell vs. Rupert was pretty entertaining. Small moments like when Russell AND Sandra opted out of the challenge for an unknown item and even gave each other a fist-bump (I wish the show did show more of the little moments, but I get why they have to show more of the drama). Russell playing Parvati & Danielle against each other was awesome and way bold. But it sucked how it almost backfired on him. Still, very big move and certainly earned him points from Colby & Rupert. And Danielle whining at Tribal was the #1 reason she got voted off, it was clearly the tipping point for Jerri's swing vote. Next week's should be fun, "Russell the Hero!" HA! Sadly though, he really has no one left to bring to the end anymore...even though (if he makes it to the end) he still deserves the win.
-
In one episode. Candice and Danieele were bores. Why were they even there?
-
lol - Officially the best season ever, even though I didn't dig the two half-hour episodes stuffed into one deal. I like the "reality" tv portion of this show, especially this season, and it was lacking in this episode. But maaaan! Russell IS an evil little troll! He just made me like every person who is left more than I did before tonight. Even Sandra, who I usually hate. She made it down to the final six WITH an immunity idol. That's crazy. I can't totally agree that Jerri has played a good game, though. She's just voted perfectly! Her game is still pretty much non-existent, though. I do not believe for ONE SECOND that Russell has any chance of winning the million dollars no matter how far he goes. If Rupert makes it, he wins. If Parvarti makes it, she wins. And I really think they'd give it to one of the other girls just to spite his nasty troll ass.
-
Russell has some real balls going after his original alliance this early. I knew it would happen soon but I didn't expect it this early - it was a smart move but it will probably backfire. He must find the idol or win immunity again. The target is on his back next.
-
...until next week when Russell is out in the jungle taking a pee when he finds Sandra's immunity idol. That will be great. The thing I liked is that when he got immunity this week, he didn't sit back, lay low and cruise through the vote. He used it to go on the attack. That's some amazing playing, although I'm with everyone here -- the way he's carpet bombed the game is impressive, but there's just no way he can do that and win. Too many bodies are piling up. He just can't figure out how to get rid of the people he wants and make it look like someone else did all the dirty work. But man, he sure got Danielle all twisted around. If he could do that with whomever he's with in the final, he might have a shot.
-
She was in the same high school I was for the same duration of time. If she reads these damn message boards, it'd be cool to get a hold of her.
Anyways, she's been the sole reason I've been watching Survivor. Good to hear she's not with Ozzy anymore. -
... but he is the engine that makes this season go. This season wouldn't have been half as interesting without him in the mix. And even having pissed everyone off, I would not count him out yet. The heroes may hate and distrust him but to stay in the game they need him. Ironically... hahaha, this would be good... the one thing that could waylay him is that hidden idol. King of it for so long, if the girls can con his crew into voting for who they want and then have that person play the idol, then they can take him out.
-
Ruseell had to get rid of Danielle. Parvati & Danielle were controlling the group.
he had to break the duo.
I hate the guy but respect his gameplay.
He is a great player. He is full of himself but he has the brains and the guts to carry out his threats... -
Stupid.
-
Smart move to not tell anyone that she found the idol and Rupert was faking, but a not-so-smart move to leave the idol out in the open where someone else could find it. I really hope it bites the rat queen in the ass next week.
And Russell is definitely banking on the remaining Heroes needing him to keep them from being picked off by the others. Definitely a case of "The enemy of my enemy is my friend" going on here.
-
She hid it somewhere else not near where the clue indicated that it was. Sandra like most of the females on that show, wasn't wearing any clothes with pockets, so she had to do something with it.
-
The troll keeps Jerri and the boys to knock off Sandra, but Sandra uses the idol, and Sandra and Parv vote Russ. But who thinks it will be that straight forward?
I don't think Sandra has the idol. She has a clue and a trinket and is too stupid to figure out the next step. The producers didn't give us a whole lot of this sub-plot because it will be the heart of next week's show. I think Troll does come up with the real idol somehow, and Sandra (stupid) plays the trinket (not an idol) and goes to Ponderosa.
Here's Russell's strategy: to keep an alliance together, Troll needs to kick out Sandra, then double back and take out Rupert by bringing Parv back to his side and voting out the last two heros, who can't be allowed in the final three.
Of course, if Sandra does have the idol, it's game over for the troll.
If it's a nine person jury (and it must be to avoid a tie vote), then we have three people up for the money at the final tribal. Rus best shot is to be up against Jerri and Colby, two do-nothings. -
Really, the music video at Ponderosa? Really? OK it's a ploy for laughs but I was on the floor. Must watch.
-
of Danielle last night. I figured he should wait until at least Colby or Rupert was gone. However, he did it while he was immune. I wonder if he didn't have that immunity if Parvati & Danielle might not have turned on him. Is he that good, or just that lucky? I really don't think it occurred to him that either Danielle or Paravti would not believe him and talk to the other. Would he have pushed for Danielle going home if he wasn't immune?"And Danielle has HORRIBLE cleavage"That's not cleavage, it's a fold; looks like an inverted pleat on a pair of corduroy pants.
-
I think Russell having immunity last night emboldened him to go after Dani.
The thing everyone is missing is Russell's motivation for going after Dani was anything but strategic: it was highly emotional and paranoid. He was angry and hurt that Parvati was being more of a BFF with Dani than himself.
I think it was a terrible move for him to make. He blew up his alliance. If he'd kept it intact he cruises to the final three. Now he has to try and woo the remaining men just to stay in the game. I really hope they fuck him over. He deserves it. But Colby and Rupert may be too good-hearted to do it in such a cold-blooded manner: which is exactly why Russell reaches out to them now. -
If she had kept her yap shut, Jerri wouldn't have voted for her.
-
but he needs to bring someone that is as unlikeable to the jury as he is to the finals. Parv? Also, poorboy, I am pretty sure that the paper with the idol said that it was the real deal. We will see. Also, off topic, how do you get line spacing in posts?
-
(minus the spaces)
will give you a new paragraph. -
Good to see Russell make a move without the Hidden Immunity Idol. I generally agree with the idea that pairs need to be broken up, and he's used a variation of the strategy Boston Rob used in All-Stars to vote out Danielle, vote them out before your deal with them expires.
But, I think this move showed a weakness in his game as well. He treats other people too much like they're numbers because he's too obsessed with the feeling of complete control. He has a chip on his shoulder, and he doesn't realize that being in control doesn't have to mean being "the powerful figure." He wants to be feared and followed, not worked with, and that's why no one will ever vote for him to win the game. He disrespects the essential humanity of each person. Yes, it's a game, but that doesn't mean basic human decency, the trader mentality, goes out the window. (Like Colby said to Candace, make your move, but admit it's a move.) In life, you can either manipulate other people, trade with other people, or coerce other people. (Colby's comment to Candace shows that Colby believes in the trader mentality.) Russell, I believe is the first person to coerce at such a high level that it gets him far in the game. Usually, when you coerce, people understand your lack of loyalty, and vote you out early ASAP. (His success is probably intertwined with the HII, just like people following a coercive dictator just because he has the military behind him.)
(Side note: I think Sandra's the only player to have figured Russell out, as she did when getting Coach out. Everyone else seems to think they can play with Russell, use him to their advantage.)
I will say this for Russell, though he will go down in history as the most overrated player, the best two players are Boston Rob and Earl, he has changed the basic conversation. No longer is it which is the better strategy, manipulation or trade, it's now manipulation, trade, or coercion.
(Prediction: Russell won't win, but he'll get to the end again. I'd take him to F3/F2 in a heart beat. Really, the rankings for winning a jury vote are as follows: Rupert, Colby, Sandra, Pavarti, Jerri, Russell)
(Jerri can't win a jury vote against anyone except Russell because everyone else is either liked or respected for playing.) -
First, where is the Ponderosa stuff viewable? Is it on the CBS Survivor site? I'd go check but I'm running out the door.Second, Sandra had a big ass note with her immunity idol, right? And they never showed her reading it during this episode, right? What the hell did it say? And did she leave it with the idol or take it back to camp with her? Because a note that long WITH an immunity idol has got to be some kind of important. Even if Russell finds her idol, which I doubt, maybe the note will still have value. *shrug* Just thought it was interesting that she said, "I've got to read this later", and they never showed her doing so.
-
I'm wondering if you can use the hidden idol on a tie-breaker vote if the first vote was a tie and the idol wasn't played.
-
As others have noted, Danielle's line about being closer to Parvati than anyone knows is what turned Jerri. I was surprised Russell would go after her this early, but it was a logical move in retrospect.
Russell still can't win the game. The jury hates him because he was responsible for all of them getting kicked out, and, in typical "Survivor" jury fashion, that's reason enough not to vote in his favor.
But I'm sure he'll make the final three. I don't care what the preview for next week shows, Russell is probably going to make final three with Parvati and Sandra. And between the three, Sandra will probably win simply because the jury hates both Russell and Parvati.
I'm really surprised Rupert has made it so far in the game, considering his broken toe and how useless he has been this season. -
Specifically when Tyson voted against-plan and ended up getting voted out himself. I wondered if he had gone along with the plan, and Russell hadn't used the idol, what was Rob's plan to happen next? If vote #1 had ended in a 3-way tie, and Russell could have used the idol on the second vote, Tyson probably would have been voted out anyway. As much as players may not like Parvati, it's hard to deny she's played a great game (so far). She's not a coattail rider; she's making moves even Russell doesn't see coming. Plus, when it comes to challenges she's right in there either winning or coming close. Unlike some of her tribemates, who'd rather drop out after one minute to share a mystery dish.I hope Candice enjoyed that peanut butter sandwich, because that decision may very well have cost her the game. When it comes to dumb moves, that one ranks fairly high to me. She turned on her previous tribe and therefore is no friend to them, but is something of an outsider, or at least a newcomer, to the Villains' alliance. Basically, she's on her own. No one trusts a turncoat. Yet she's confident enough to drop out of an immunity challenge and leave Parvati alone to tough it out against Rupert. If I was Parvati, I too would want to vote out her flip-flopping half-assing-it ass.
-
If the promos are to be believed. Sandra has officially outed herself to Russell as his enemy and she has the HII. Looks like a possible 3-3 (girls vs. guys) tie at Tribal and Sandra will have to correctly guess which of the females the new "Hero" alliance is voting for. And James was right about Superman wearing a girdle. Donaldson has been nothing but a big floating turd out there.
-
Russell will definitely make the final 3, they didn't call him the best player ever during the last season for no reason at all. That doesn't mean he wins, but to get to back to back finals is impressive and he is supposedly already rich. If those ponderosa videos are legit and not more survivor obfuscating then he doesn't have a chance in hell to win the title. Parvarti's got killer legs and ass on her. And without makeup she is seriously cute. And for all you idiots that said Amanda is a buttahface, nigga please, she looked absolutely gorgeous in the jury section. That girl is smoking.
-
He did it again. He made Jerri vote with her fear. He made Tyson vote out of his hatred for Parv and send him home. He made Jerri vote out of fear, and now he can pick up Rupert and Colby by playing the "Parv and Sandra have already won this game before. You wanna risk keeping them around?"
-
The only thing that I don't get, and I have not yet watched any of them (but need to), is why the survivor staff behind the cameras would be so free to air footage that might spoil the ending. I get the fact that it is most likely only the hard-core and loyal fans that are watching the videos, the ones that will watch the finale no matter what. But, if everything is supposed to be under wraps, why allow a video that has the jury openly talking about their votes or who they will or won't vote for? Seems like a huge, leaky spoiler-fest, against everything the show ha stried to do since the Season 1 recorded vote. Maybe a game changer is coming to the final vote soon.
-
or won't vote for. They don't know who is in the final vote (and the videos showing them finding out won't hit the 'net until after the final episode has aired). The Ponderosa Videos are made available in installments. The newest installments, featuring the newly departed Candice and Danielle, were not available until today. Certainly you may get the impression of who some jurors may not want to vote for (or who they might vote for) but no more than one could deduce while watching the show and listening to what they say in their private asides. If you saw in a Ponderosa Video Danielle talking about how pissed she is with Russell, after watching last night's episode, would you expect anything less? Besides, even if someone outright says no way they will vote for so-and-so, they could always change their mind come the final vote.If you want to gauge how spoilery they might be, you could always watch the ones from previous seasons. I think CBS has the last 3 or 4 seasons available as well. Just remember, each video that shows someone getting voted out and joining the group at Ponderosa was put up after the episode in which they got voted out.And even if you don't want to watch them, you still need to see the one they just put up of The Dragonz music video. I think Coach, JT, and Courtney have started a new trend. Wonder is the album will be for sale on iTunes, or if they'll perform during the reunion show.
-
Does she crack anyone else up with all her goofy little asides and posing on the jury? I think she is hilarious.
-
Coach is such a goober. Ha!
-
Is anyone really tired of seeing people like Parv and Russel do the same old shit every week? Get some new people.
-
I love love love the guy, but his blog while entertaining to read is so badly written.
Parvati will be the 1st 2-time winner in Survivor history. Next time they should up the prize money for the all-stars to 2 million. -
Also, there are too many idols this season.
-
Seriously, this show is less about survival and teamwork than ever before. From day 1 each contestant is starting to backstab their supposed team members. The fact that people here think Russell is some type of great player for being the biggest sack of shit example of humanity shows that the show should be renamed to "The Truth About Our Worst Traits as Humans." At least do away with the "tribe" terminology and just call them "assholes."
-
Because that's what this effing show is all about now. It's BORING! Everyone sits around. And then an idol is played. The end. It sucks get rid of the idols.
-
I know this talkback is fizzling but does anyone come away thinking better of Courtney and how she looks when watching these Ponderosa videos? Pretty cool chick and she is definitely hot. I am sure at her normal weight she is still a bit thin but much better then the stick figure she is when she loses that 5-8 lbs out there. She looks pretty damn good.
-
If he can get a alliance going with Colby, Rupert and Jerri, he will likely win the game. That would surprise me, but he has that Sith Lord mind trick thing going on.
-
How many years has he been on this show so far? It seems like a long time. He hasn't hurt the ratings anyway.
-
First as mentioned... too many damn hidden immunity idols! Fuck! Three max.. one for each tribe, then one post merge. If it's played it doesn't come back. Bring back the member swaps too... those made the game more interesting than damn weekly idol hunt. I loved seeing the person in control of the tribe all of the sudden on the other side and groveling to stay in.
