Sources indicate a strong performance from “Chuck” last night would have brought the struggling series an early renewal for next season, but the show itself only matched its all-time low again on Monday. Its 1.9 in preliminary 18-49 leaves it only a tick above the 1.8 all-time low scored by the penultimate “Heroes,” also on the NBC bubble. NBC announces its fall slate in 13 days.
