Hugo Weaving is now the RED SKULL!
Hey folks, Harry here about to welcome Danny Trejo in my home - weird day. Seriously. Anyway - in other news looks like Elrond, Mr Smith, V has another bit of iconography to add to his very killer collection of awesome parts... he's gonna be THE RED SKULL! Here's the press release...
Hugo Weaving Confirmed as the Red Skull in
Marvel Studios’ CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER
Marvel Studios announced today that Hugo Weaving has been cast to star as Johann Schmidt aka the Red Skull in the studio’s highly anticipated movie CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER opposite Chris Evans and Hayley Atwell. In the early comics, Johann Schmidt was drafted into loyal service of The Third Reich and renamed “The Red Skull”. The character will be updated for the feature adaptation. Joe Johnston will direct the film penned by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely.
Marvel Studios’ Kevin Feige will produce CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER. Alan Fine, Stan Lee, David Maisel and Louis D’Esposito will executive produce. The film will be released in the US on July 22, 2011 and distributed by Paramount Pictures.
CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER will focus on the early days of the Marvel Universe when Steve Rogers volunteers to participate in an experimental program that turns him into the Super Soldier known as Captain America.
Weaving was last seen in THE WOLFMAN and his voice is very recognizable as Megatron from TRANSFORMERS and TRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN as well as Noah the Elder from HAPPY FEET. His other film credits include starring in V FOR VENDETTA, THE MATRIX franchise, and THE LORD OF THE RINGS trilogy.
In addition to CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER, Marvel Studios will release a slate of films based on the Marvel characters including the highly anticipated sequel, IRON MAN 2, starring Robert Downey Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow on May 7, 2010, THOR on May 6, 2011, and Marvel Studios’ THE AVENGERS on May 4, 2012.
Weaving is represented by CAA, Shanahan Management and attorney David Weber.

A great choice! He'll do it justice

I have a feeling that this one will eat a dick up 'til it hiccups.
That's all I got. -
Or was it just reported as a rumor?
-
Nice casting but no surprise there.

AICN late again. Shocker.

"The character will be updated for the feature adaptation."
Does that mean they're gonna update him a la Brubaker's run on Cap? -
The guy is just a fantastic actor. Needs to be in more movies for sure.
-
(hands harry Danny Trejo's name)
-
Harry you get an A+ for random name dropping... Danny Trejo has absolutely nothing to do with this news yet you found some weird way of just slipping it in there... way to go. Now, about Mr. Weaving, it seems like a very safe choice. Obviously I have no doubt that he's going to do a fantastic job with the part or at least I hope so. I just can't help but think if there was anyone else out there that would have been a more inspired or original choice? Anyway, have fun entertaining your guest? who is it again?
-
Weaving is a great actor and will be great in the role
but I think it should have been a German actor -
That would be awesome.

seriously haven't we known hugo was red skull for like 3 month now, it was announced back when wolfman hit theatres in feb

That is the sound of inevitability... Mister Rogers!
by impossibledreamers
My name... is Captain America!
-
I mean... It's CAP! He is the cornerstone of the Avengers. I am hoping for more WWII time and LESS modern-day Cap! The first film should be an adaptation of Captain America: Sentinel of Liberty. (The 4-part graphic novel) The whole USO think KILLS me. Steve Rogers is an ARTIST!! He designs the Cap costume as an American responce to Nazi PROPOGANDA!! NOT to go in a USO show! THAT .. more than anything else... scares me about this film. Just be FAITHFUL to the original Captain America story!! The MORE you change... the MORE you have a chance to fuck up!
-
Lets' hope they don't make him Captain America's son or something...oh. This is good news though, Waeving's a class act and I'm intruiged to see how Bucky Barnes and The Invaders, a young Nick Fury and the Howling Commandoes play out in this.
-
After his dissapointing VO's for the Transformers films he's going to have to seriously up his game. If anything, I thought the amazing performance of Christoph Waltz in Tarantino's Basterds had guaranteed him this role but alas...

further proof: he also was in "Babe", "The Adventures of Priscilla: Queen of the Desert" and "Proof". The guy is one of my faves, and how come he still hasn't got an Oscar is beyond me. People keep talking Michael Sheen but overlooks Hugo. Damn.

He's gonna look silly in one of those tri-cornered hats.

great actor but he is not the only one who can play the villain, you hear that Hollywood?

That's not saying much, but I enjoyed his brief time onscreen.

Yeah yeah yeah, we've known about this for weeks. Only now its official. And now Harry is acting like its news to him? Crap, maybe it is.

Does anyone not remember this fucking horrible Yahoo Serious shit-storm of a flick? Ya, Mr. Hugo "Mr. Anderson!!!" Weaving was in that one... I just don't think he's going to bring anything exciting to the table on this one.

Unless people are going to act like Johnston didn't say "YES, WEAVING IS PLAYING THE RED SKULL! I CONFIRM THIS AND SO DOES MARVEL!" and therefore the article shouldn't be payed attention to. -
With the Hobbit movies somewhat on hold, Marvel is gunning for Guillermo del Toro to direct and Neil Gaiman to write Dr. Strange [link removed]
Can a Doctor Strange-centric "Defenders" movie that fits into what Marvel is now calling the “Marvel Cinematic Universe” finally be in the works?...
SHIELD pulls together a paranormal special ops team after the Military/SHIELD/NASA made contact with a "Beyonder" (or Celestial, some sort of "magical" trans-dimensional entity, perhaps an Asgardian?) SHIELD realizes it doesn't have the capabilities to ascertain if this “thing” is a threat or not. Thus sets the premise for the Defenders movie, where the use of occult, fringe science, brains, and brawn are employed to defeat a multi-dimensional and or “secret invasion” cosmic threat to save the day in such a way that Avengers cannot.
The team that SHIELD assembles to defend us from such an invader will be a group of eccentric scientist/academia types culled to form the "Defenders", the oddball counterpoint to the distinguished Avengers team. Project "Defenders" will be the “Twilight Zone” of the new Marvel movie franchises; they want it to be less of an action movie and have more of a creepy thriller type of vibe to it. The Defender operatives will consist of group leader - the brilliant Dr. Stephen Vincent Strange former neurosurgeon turned renowned occultist scholar and “metaphysicist” (character to be loosely based around Aleister Crowley/Terence McKenna eccentric by way of Robert Langdon), Namor McKenzie (Sub-Mariner, the superhuman Jacques-Yves Cousteau by way of Rudolf Steiner, believes he’s the literal Prince of Atlantis) , Dr. Robert Bruce Banner (Hulk, brilliant “omnidisciplinary” scientist, the world’s greatest expert on gamma radiation… need we say more?), Dr. Henry "Hank" Pym (Ant-Man, MIT professor renowned quantum physicist), and his partner Janet Van Dyne(Wasp, one-time student to Pym now associate, extremely bright but introverted Lady Gaga “individualist” type). Themes incorporated into Defenders movie include motifs from the bestselling magical/occult/secret society Dan Brown books, along with themes from the more recent Marvel series involving Secret [link removed] storylines (specifically the newer S.H.I.E.L.D. 2010 comic series). They'll be looking for lean lesser-known actors to play non-super hero type characters, and there are ruminations that Strange may be pushed forward to play a crucial role as catalyst to merge the magical other-dimensional realms like Asgard into the more "realistic" Iron Man universe.
Questions remain about the timeline and release of the Doctor Strange character into the big screen. Will we see Doctor Strange in a smallish part for the upcoming Avengers movie helping to usher in the “magical” component onto the Marvel Cinematic Universe? Or will Strange remain left out of the Avengers universe altogether for now, and another plot device or character be used to infuse the “magical elements” instead of him?... They are determined to bring on Dr. Strange movie post Ant-Man, the question remains will Strange remain side-lined for now? Some at Marvel are extremely hush-hush as plot points, characters as well as want-lists that are still being hashed-out for upcoming films, others think it’s good to gauge public opinion about what properties the public truly cares for and how they can be incorporated to the larger Marvel Movie-verse whilst staying true to the premise of the characters. Some of us like me see the potential and are really pushing for a Doctor Strange-centric Defenders movie but more importantly having Strange play a pivotal if not smallish role in the upcoming Avengers movie.
-
Every role, he's the bad guy. I think he'll do well, but if they had chosen an actor known for playing protagonists it would have been a more inspired choice.
-
I'm REALLY curious as to the way he will look, as to what direction they are taking the character. Visually, there are so many possibilities. So much potential here. Don't waste it.

I was starting to worry you wouldn't post that here.

Elrond was not a bad guy nor was V. Fuck off with your stupid ass comment about being typecast! And since we're on the subject of typecasting, you dumbasses want Waltz to play another German Nazi and ruin his career??? He's not even German!

I just wonder what this update is that they speak of. Cause really classic Red Skull doesn't work all that well in a movie now does he.

Captain America fine, The First Avenger yes, just not together.

He's not Austrian, but do you really want the guy to play a fucking Nazi everytime he's on screen????
-
I think maybe he won't just be- you know a red skull. Maybe some makeup effects but not a CG skull hopefully
-
...that give a shit about this film?
The comic book was wack and this film can only go one way. Tanking big style. -
Whats for dinner Harry??????
-
I found it amusing as well that some of you were calling Hugo's casting as "Typecasting," but are OK with Christoph Waltz being cast as another Nazi bad guy. Ironic?
-
they could have picked much worse ...
-
yes, and do you know why? Because he's good at it. Because there are so many actors out there who have tried to be German or Nazi's and can't do it... for instance Tom "I'm not Gay!!!" Cruise... he was horrible... I want a nazi to look like one and sound like one... so sue me.
-
Then why cant Marvel do the same with Hugo Weaving?
-
Only because I really want to see him in every movie and do the Batman voice. It just too damn funny! P.S. Harry ask him if he's a Mexi-can or a Mexi-can't....
-
He did NOT try one fucking bit to be german! He was the only asshole in the movie that kept his own accent! Come up with a better excuse, or how about an original casting choice?
-
...do they become true? Somebody seems desperate to find out.
-
I love any news about Hugo Weaving. Seriously, the man has done such a great job as an actor and making good career choices that I'd love to read about him making soup for dinner.
I have no idea who Red Skull is, but he sounds kind of scary. Based on what I've read about the movie "Captain America" so far, the dude might be someone I'll now root for since it's Hugo Weaving.
I can't ever quite root for a guy who has the small-mindedness to call himself "Captain America" anyway. I hope he gets his ass kicked by Red Skull. -
I wrote it... you review it. Find it at:

Because I know AICN isn't goingto get to this for another month... Radar Online posted the story that the coroners office has announced that Corey Haim died of natural causes (they're saying diffused alveolar damage, community acquired pneumonia, and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy with coronary arteriosclerosis) That being said, Haim although a troubled young actor, was undeniably huge in the 80's and it's great we can put it to rest. RIP Corey, God Bless
-
Seriously ... WHAT. THE. FUCK.Good on them though for picking Weaving. The guy is the fucking man, and will elevate the film.
-
I think he'll be a great Red Skull. He has a great voice, and he doesnt mind doing movies behind a mask. Im not too worried about the updated character thing... he'll still be a Nazi. Nazis are always the best bad guys in movies, easily dislikeable
-
...that he's "about to welcome Danny Trejo in my home"... could that be some kind of euphemism?
-
i never even knew he wore a mask. wtf.
-
Where are you going with this... his black market burrito dealer or something?

Thanks, Geektard_Smasher.
You know, for the explanation of Captain America and his uniform.
Not so much thanks for calling me a douche, however, and trying to belittle me with your homophobic rhetoric. That probably works for you most of the time with your friends.
Unfortunately, on AICN it means I'm not going to take one thing you write seriously from now on.
Have fun reading your comics. -
i have a feeling that his face will be his real skull-face, without a lot of flesh and skin,in order to make him more threating and evil.Weaving will wear makeup not a mask.
-
is making the character worse. There is absolutely no way a couple of fucking Hollywood writer schmucks are going to make the character stronger via updating. Its ridiculous they would even feel the need to.
-
I must admit, I didn't see this coming.
That said, I hope they don't pussy out in the makeup department. After The Dark Knight's Two Face, there's really no excuse for the Red Skull to not be well done. -
Dude, no executive is gonna read your post and make your dreams come true. No matter how many times you copy and paste that dawn thing.

-
I wonder if Harry's are firmly planted on Danny Trejo's ass yet.
-
Giving him an origin that works better for Weaving kind of like what they did with Jack on Batman '89. The 616 origin is that Johann Schmitt is basically a Nazi parallel of Steve Rodgers. A meek, faceless little bell boy who Hitler himself thinks he can mold into the perfect Nazi. Since Weaving is obviously older than Chris Evans they're probably just going to turn him into a super villain version of Joseph Goebbels. I wouldn't sweat it, especially if Joss Whedon is doing the rewrite. He knows and loves these characters.
-
is making me sweat it
-
I feel he's getting stuck as the villain most times, but he's still good and worth seeing again(or not seeing as was the case in V).
-
Thanks for confirming what we already knew, AICN! Anyway, I'll just stick to watching Un Village Francais for my Red Skull fix. Agent Elrond's going to do his one-note villain performance and this will be cartoony boolshit. Meanwhile, on Un Village Francais and Sniper: Reloaded, Richard Sammel will continue to kick ass and play awesome German villains. This is why Hollywood is a piece of crap, specifically Marvel studios. As we saw with Inglourious Basterds, it doesn't take a big-name actor to bring justice to a role. Marvel doesn’t care, and has been doing the opposite for most of their new films. They are only using no names for a few roles, mainly in Brannagh's Thor, which I actually do respect him for a bit. They want big names in the supporting roles to get a large number of groups in the theatres. It doesn’t really matter, considering that these are films on comic book properties that would draw in a large crowd, IRREGARDLESS of who is cast. We saw this with Lord of the Rings films. Poor Marvel. They don’t know better.Anyway, the director is a lazy dunghead, offered Weaving the role over a year ago when they were filming Wolfman, and I have absolutely no interest hearing someone give a fake German accent in this day and age. His voice is not how I imagine Red Skull's at all. A man with a more sinister voice that is capable of politeness (Waltz, Sammel) would have nailed the role and brought more gravitas that was needed to sink a chill in to your very spine. I don't expect you fanboys to understand me. I just expect you to respect my opinion that there WERE better choices out there you have never heard of. I doubt anyone even read for this part. Weaving’s had it probably a year plus. Fuck you, Hollywood. You have failed me for the last time. (Happy Star Wars day, tards)
-
Will the start of the movie be set in the 40s with Cap. America fighting nazis? Will they use the hibernation device to put ol's Cap. in present day america?
-
He was not a villain in THE WOLFMAN.
-
If I hadn't of known ahead of time that Hugo voiced Megatron in Transformers, I would've never known. Seriously, they ran his voice work through so much processing for the finale result, he was totally unrecognizable, I do'nt understand the point of why they bothered to hire him. It could've been Joe Shmo.

If you read it and hate it, fine. But to simply disparrage it without so much as a glance? That's not nice. I'm sure you don't appreciate the way every woman assumes your're a small-dicked homosexual every time you walk into a room. I post my story link here because the people who check out aintitcool are the type who will appreciate it or call me on my shortcomings. And, hey, at least I've created something. I'm going to assume the most creative you've ever been is when you drop the occasional big bowel movement and take a picture or call someone over to witness it because you're so impressed with yourself. Try to contribute something to society instead of being the braying jackass that you are. Douche.

by monkey_king
Worried yet?
-
Probably our best character actor. This guy takes roles that would be fucking disasters in anyone else's hands and makes something special out of them. A very underrated actor.
-
Wow, I must have read about ten thousand Marvel comics and I never knew the Red Skull was named John Smith in German. Wow.
-
Iron Man or Thor? Are Ant-man and the Wasp tied for fourth place? Or fifth, after the Hulk? I think Hulk would actually be the sixth Avenger since he joined last and quit first. In the comics, though Captain America was the Sixth Avenger, Hawkeye was Seventh and then Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch were tied for Eighth.
Of course that's just the Marvel Avengers, not the bogus Ultimates version.
In the British version, I think Emma Peel was the fourth Avenger. Depending on how many partners Steed had before Pussy Galore. -
You dont have to do that to maintain your fake friends online
-
Fucker's in everything these days, whether in voice or in person. No doubt he'll continue to whore it up providing the voice of Megatron for Turdformers 3. Apparently he hasn't seen any of the Transformers films, though...maybe he's a smarter man than the rest of us.Frank Langella kicked ass as Skeletor, btw. No joke. If Weaving puts in that kind of performance we could be in for a treat. It's an abject lesson in how to take what in theory is a cheesy role in a z-grade genre pic and just run with it without pretension, ironically elevating the material. Fuck pretentious actors who think genre movies are beneath them and simply a 'paycheck'.

is that he'll wear the red mask only some of the time, and towards the end of the movie something will either
a. graft it to his face
b. His face will be burnt and he throws the mask to the ground before the end credits come up.
c. He'll don the mask at the very end after being disfigured.
I'm hoping for B more then the other 2 personally. -
I'd comment about your Danny Trejo visit, but I have Tony Todd coming over to cook me up some edamame. Mmm.

WAY BETTER THAN THAT HACK: Julian McMahon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
by illuminate
Julian McMahon is one lazy douche bag actor who took a shit on Doctor Doom when he played the part in the Fantastic Four movies. Dr. Doom didn't even have an accent. McMahon probably said to himself, “Even though my European accent has gone away from doing American parts, I'm still European, so I don't have to come up with any kind of accent.” HE PHONED IN HIS PERFORMANCE. What a lazy asshole! He basically played himself with squinting eyes to portray evil, what a fucking joke. A ten year old kid in a play has more range than that asshole. Studio Execs, don't ever hire Julian McMahon since he took a shit on a character that should have been as cool as Freddy Kruger or Darth Vader. I just saw the behind the scenes of the Fantastic Four DVD when Stan Lee said he was the only actor who didn't call him right after he was cast then Julian McMahon replied and said, “Well, I'm a busy man.” You are not a busy man, you are a lazy second rate actor who belongs in b-movies. Doctor Doom would have been played well by a serious and real actor like Hugo Weaving. Weaving would have created an entirely new character with dimension for Doctor Doom and made the character cool. We all know he will do the part of the Red Skull justice. Julian McMahon is on a level of a Baywatch actor.
-
Something tells me I would have found Pamela Anderson at least somewhat satisfying as Dr. Doomjob

Weaving is allowing himself be type-cast here.

Ironman: The Second Avenger, Thor: The Third Avenger
by chuck_chuckwalla
Or wouldn't Thor be the FIRST since he's an ancient Norse God? Sure, he didn't know at the time he would become an Avenger but then again there were no Avengers in WWII either. So, right there, things get fuzzy at this point. Maybe I can clear this up. So, if Thor is really first then that would make Cap, SECOND. But technically if Cap has been frozen all this time, he's out of the loop. So, we reorganize ... in movie continuity Iron Man should be FIRST, right? Because he was the first one approached about forming a team by Nick Fury. So, that makes Cap the THIRD Avenger because Thor is coming out before Cap. No, wait! Fuck! The Incredible Hulk came out a month or so after Iron Man that same summer, so technically Iron Man is SECOND, Cap is FORTH. Because remember that scene where Tony Stark is talking to General Thunderbolt Ross about trying to recruit The Incredible Hulk for a team? Or maybe Hulk is FIRST if you count Ang Lee's Hulk, since Incredible Hulk was a loosely based part-two of that piece of shit. Now, this is getting complicated. See, how fucked up that 'First Avenger' tag line is? Is Hawkeye, Scarlet Witch or Giant Man in this? They easy, they last.
-
They said the events of The Incredible Hulk take place after the events of Iron Man 2
-
... into him to talk about his home.
-
Hulk SECOND, Thor THIRD, Cap FORTH. There you go. Cap was an INVADER in WWII, not an AVENGER, fuckers.
-
harry told him to come over and he would get him a small part in a little upcoming captain america thing.
-
I mean, look at him! He IS Namor.
-
You never get the smell of a Danny Trejo deuce out of that bathroom. Ever. Everyone in Hollywood knows that.
-
Let's hope Chris Evans has gone back and watched Sunshine at least 6 times to brush up on his acting.
-
If one of these movies sucks total balls it would tarnish the whole Avengers angle they're taking. It doesn't help that Joe Johnston is a pretty terrible director. "From the director of Jurassic Park 3 and the The Wolfman" does not inspire much confidence. But hey, how long before they announce John Slattery's Howard Stark is one of the scientists who creates Cap? After all, he did work on the Manhattan Project, apparently...
-
Dude looks like the red skull already.

They couldn't come up with something better? I mean it is so damned lame. I feel the same way I felt about "The Phantom Menace" as a title to the first new Star Wars movie and that pretty much ended up with me being right on that count. Guys you still have time to fix this damned lapse in judgement. Stop trying to advertise movies that aren't out yet in your damned title, its pathetic.
-
You were pretty much wrong. The Phantom Menace was very much in keeping in the spirit of a chapter title from the serials of the 30' and 40's. Y'know those old B/W things that Lucas drew his inspiration for Star Wars from?
-
cuz I remember someone saying that the Reason Wolverine was titled x-men origins was cuz fox's deal re: the x-men franchise was that an xmen fliq had to be done by such and such time or the rights would revert to marvel. That aside, I think hugo is a great choice, hopefully he's given great material, because I thought he would be a great megatron and he did great with what he had, it's just unfortunate it was a bay fliq.
-
Ha! What a fucking silly thing to throw in the press release. David Weber, fuck you!
-
I just dunno about this....Mr.Mom as the Dark Knight Detective??
-
He'll fit into all the costumes without any problem.
-
When, in the history of civilization, has that ever meant an improvement? "Sure, the original character drew legions of fans for decades and is a household word among comic fans, but...well, we know better." Never the case.Weaving seems an odd choice, but he's great, so good luck to him.
-
Not in terms of casting but script. Thor may seem the bigger risk but I think Cap and the whole super-patriot rah-rah has to be done just right.
But Chris Evans is an awesome choice. Remember a few weeks ago that dude with the chicken was a possibility. I think I would have raided the Marvel offices if that had gone down. -
perfect.

Can anyone remember the mini series
that was about 4-6 issues long , that was like an origin story from the 40's? It was fucking amazing , He had a cool costume (pre Ultimate's but similar ), and I remember one of the bad guys was like some kind of evil guy who sprayed poison gas ,another had electronic barbs..... I would love to find it . This would make a great movie...just can't remember what it was called ... ;( -
Wouldn't it be cool to have a Matrix
type T.V show? That picked up after the Films?....just a thought ...
(Now I'm thinking what a shitfest it could be , maybe not such a cool idea ;( )
-
But that's just my opinion...

"The Adventures of Captain America: Sentinel of Liberty". One of the best "year one" type origin stories ever done. They had the whole process where Steve wasn't the only Super Soldier candidate with the Jesse Owens guy, the Jewish guy and the comic relief fat racist young Archie Bunker guy competing with him. They had Bucky as the wise-ass, skirt chasing, cigarette smoking sidekick with no costume. The perfect creepy nazi movie serial villains you mentioned, the poison gas guy, the electric guy, the knife guy ad the KKK looking dude who turned out to be Steve's girlfriend the whole time. Plus the Red Skull. I hope somebody @ Marvel puts this comic in Joss and Johnson's hands even though the healthy mix of this kind of origin and a more realist WWII film is probably what their gonna go for. Loved that comic though.

Hugo Weaving kicks ass. I loved him in "Sky Pirates".

Is he going to sign Harrys "Machete" or give decorating advice? Anyway, I think Captain America should fight the evil and mad General North Korea and being sponsored by Major Africa who is always oweing money to the Captain.
-
Or that shitty remake with Jude law or whoever the fuck was in it. So 'The First Avenger' is a fairly decent way of establishing The Avengers movie will be nothing to do with that franchise. Makes sense, yes?
-
Joe Johnston, doesnt give me hope
-
Yeaaaaahhhhhhh that guy is awesome!!!! Probably the best choice, dont give me that German actor crap.HES THE MAN
-
He never seems to turn anything down. Hope he does better than Megatron.
-
...will do anything for money.
-
Christoph Waltz as the Red Skull?? Why? Because he played a Nazi already? You spineless, half-bred chimp molesters. How moronic can you get.
Hugu LOOKS the part, first of all. He looks like a talking skull already. And his acting is absolutely stellar. You imbeciles don't think he can pull off a German accent?
Again, complaining, joyless pieces of taint paste. Eff youse all. Weaving RULES as Red Skull. -
Are you serious? Hugo was fucking Elrond.

Thats what he hired Trejo for.
-
in a film set during
WW2?
hopefully that was a typo and not foreshadowing. -
.....I'm going to be VERY disappointed. I loved Captain America's opening scene in THE ULTIMATES. That was freakin' AWESOME.

It being "Captain America", shouldn't the studio have tried to at least get the film opening near July 4th....woulda been a no brainer.
-
what's happening with this? Loved that Bruce seems to be able to release the beast at will at the end of the film & hope they don't take him the villian route as "Hulk SMAAAAAAASH" was easilly the highlight of the movie!!
-
I probably still won't see this movie, even tho I love cap; I CANT stand chris Evans. I just don't think he'll be serious enough to pull this off. Caps a serious guy, and Evans is always a smartass. Vi was really rooting for John krasinski or cap...but, I digress. Weaving is like Walkin- he can make anything watchable
-
Something happened. I'm not sure what. But something changed...somewhere. I died, but then something happened, Misssssster Rogers
-
who Weaving's agents and attys are. WTF?
-
Why do they have to update this? Red Skull is a Iraq soldier now? WTF?????
