Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. I'm a fan of the collaborations between Chris McQuarrie and Bryan Singer. I really liked VALKYRIE a lot and, of course, love THE USUAL SUSPECTS. Also, McQuarrie did a little uncredited work on X-Men... he told me in an interview once that the only piece of his script for X-Men that made it to the final flick was one of my favorite scenes in all the X-Men films, the prologue seeing Magneto's powers develop in the concentration camp.
Anyway, McQuarrie's great and it's only good news from THR's Heat Vision blog that he's doing a rewrite on JACK THE GIANT KILLER. It doesn't look like we'll see a SUPERMAN movie from the team, but an epic fantasy flick about a war between humans and giants sounds good to me.
